Description
The Franell floor register is fabricated of steel. The base measures 1.25-in in thickness when the dampers are closed and requires a depth of 2.25-in when the dampers are open. The conventional registers are always 1-in larger than the dimension in order to hold the register in place.

Did the trick
So hard to find this size locally so was happy to see I could order it through Rona. Not the Colour I was looking for but begets can’t be choosy. Besides it not out in the open like the other vents so not a big deal. Took awhile to arrive but that’s on Canada Post as they rescheduled the delivery date from Friday to Monday.
