Can this product (50" foundation screw) also be used for fencing? I'm planning on rebuilding an old backyard fence which use a cement foundation and is a mess now.
You could, but it won't be very stable. It's more for decks where the pressure is mostly vertical. Fences are more about lateral movement (wind and lean). Best idea is for a fence is an 8" hole. Few inches of gravel at the bottom, I bag of concrete and fill the rest of the hole in gravel. Great drainage and it won't heave.

Does this product meet code for a proper deck support, also how does it get installed
You screw it in the ground using a piece of dimensional lumber at the top to turn it. Longer lumber provides better torque, so take care not to snap it, dampen the soil if you need easier penetration. Regs - depends on the area you are in, check with your local building authority. In the Fraser Valley screw pile style fittings are an acceptable alternative to sonotubes, depending on the project. Decks below around 200sqft don't need building permits, bigger ones do.

What do you use to screwthis adaptor into the ground?
Piece of lumber at the top of the shaft, the longer the better the torque.

Can the Pylex 50-in Foundation Screw take an uplift force?
À quelle distance doit-on poser ces pieux pour faire un patio ? Pour moi = patio de 10'X30' ? Merci.
Are these appropriate to use for a standard 6ft fence?
What weight can each screw pile support? How do I drive them into the ground? Will they work to support a hot tub on a deck?

Great for DIY
I purchased these to be the post holder for a roofed gazebo over our hot tub. I highly recommend using a piece of rebar to probe the ground before insertion to detect any rocks you may encounter. It takes a bit of patience to get them aligned and plumb but well worth the effort.

Easy install
Just put 4 of these in the ground. It works great as long as you don't hit any obstacles on the way down.

Doesn't work
I spent over 3 hrs on one of these and only got it 15" into the ground. What a waste of time!

Worst product every
Please don't believe the installation videos you see if this product. It looks easy in the video. I bought 4 of these hoping to go the "easy" route and avoid concrete footings . Instead after spending 2 days, I am taking these out and going with regular concrete footings. These just don't budge once you hit a rock and keep turning in place.

Good idea, poor execution
Great idea to replace concrete footings but by the model with the adjustable head if you are gojng this route. Also by the stabilizer wings to keep the posts upright when sinking them other wise they are going in crooked. Good luck if you hit a rock! Returned them and when with the concrete deck blocks screening and adjustable inserts for the blocks.

Good foundation
Better than concrete sonotubes. Use 3/8" rebar as pilot for screw to follow for precise location.

Fast
Great product, easy to use and a great time saver (about 5 mins per pile and you can work right after). But better installed with a partner so you can keep it much straighter.
