Rated 5 out of 5 by JJimenez from Very satisfied with power and versatility. Great Tool. Used to drill 5/8 inch holes 8 inches into a solid concrete for some rebar to go in for slabs. Got through 14 holes on a 10.0 AH stacked lithium battery and battery was only halfway used. Made quick work of it too. All around great tool. Vibration suppression is awesome. Will be using in near future to rip up some tile.

I like the fact that the battery is interchangeable with other Flex products. It is heavy, especially with the battery. The drive selector has a little lock that holds it in place so it doesn’t get knocked off the setting you prefer. Ergonomically balanced, with heft to it. I do wish it came with a case. It has two interchangeable chucks. It takes a wide variety of bits, even small enough to use it for a finishing nail. Overall, it is an excellent tool, it’s convenience and workmanship is unmatched.

I have put it off because I knew it would take a lot of work.. I got this rotary hammer and it made the job much more bearable. I used it to drill in anchor holes to secure the pavillion to the concrete pad. Definitely necessary in South Florida. I was very pleased with the tools performance. There was no jamming at all, which is something I heard is common with these type of power hammers. I can't wait to come up with another project so I can use this tool again anchor holes

The versatility of the unit is 2nd to none. The 24V Brushless motor easily makes quick work of hammer drilling jobs. I personally like the easily selected options of using it as a drill, a hammer drill, or just the hammer function with a simple flip of the switch. The easily interchangeable 1" SDS and keyless chuck offer simplicity and great functionality the same. The weight and design of the unit is great and feels really secure and stable while in use. Im extremely impressed with this unit and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great quality unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Satisfied in Texas from German quality Very strong. Well balanced. No problem with 4" deep holes in 40 year old concrete. Excellent quality tool from an old German company. Beware that this is the bare tool only. The battery and charger are extra purchases. Also no case, and the cases available in Germany are not available here. FYI - The large Makita interlocking case fits this tool perfectly, and there is room for the charger and bits. It is the same size as the Festool Systainer and interlocks with it. Built on the same German platform.

The side handle is easy to maneuver in order to give you the optimal position for both comfort and effectiveness. This is an innovative product with its Shockshield vibration suppression and constant speed control. The Shockshield vibration suppression helps to reduce the discomfort in your wrists and shoulders. The constant speed control allows for fluid use that gives you more comfort while using. I absolutely love that this product comes with a 5 year warranty which shows you the confidence the company has that it will last a long time. The only thing the would have made this product better would have been an included storage case.

I own another brand and it only fits that’s brand bits, and it’s not cordless. The flex on the other hand fits any bit up to an inch, and it mobile. All the settings are great, from hammer yo drill. Different speeds. It’s a well made tool, feels good in the hand and it works. Plus I got an auger bit for garden use, and I’m always seeing her walk off to dig more holes for her plants, she loves it. Great tool beyond happy
