This Flex 24V brushless oscillating multi-tool generates up to 20,000 OPM to help you cut, trim, plunge, sand, grind, and scrape with confidence. This tool makes it easier to maintain control with advanced vibration suppression, and its 3D Starlock connection maximizes the exchange between motor and blade for ultimate oscillating efficiency while making blade changes super easy. Rated 5 out of 5 by Bobby T from Precision cuts and smooth handling - SOLID TOOL! I am VERY happy with the quality of the build along with the precision cutting that this tool delivers. I am not a professional carpenter or tradesman but more of a DIY guy. I do wish it used the more generic blade mounting style instead of the "Star" style mounting but I really appreciate the quality of the lock up of the blade and the over all cut precision. All my yellow and blue tools had worn down and I took a leap of faith on buying the Flex tool line. I'm very glad I did. Hopefully they will expand the line of tools that they offer soon. I'll be buying the Flex line from now on for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Smart buy I really didn't think I needed this tool when I bought it. I was more interested in another battery and a back up charger to the one I have. If you do the math the tool comes out to 40 something dollars. Since having it and using it, I love it. I always said that the only thing cordless would be a drill and impact driver but this change my opinion. The starlock system is way better than the universal type. There is no question is the blade is locked into the position you want. The tool is well balanced is a joy to use. I have actually used in things not associated with wood working. I have used it to trim tree branches because I'm lazy and didn't feel like dragging out cords and other tools.

I purchased the multi tool kit a couple weeks ago and have been extremely satisfied with it. This has the lowest vibration of any other multi tool I’ve used and I’ve used all of the other competing brands offerings. The 5 speed modes give you lots of options to cut anything from cedar shims and sheetrock to the some of the hardest woods out there. I have found that I prefer running the tool with a bigger battery as it seems to have better balance that way. Again, very impressed with this one!

It's definitely a bit heavier, but I like the weight personally (it helps to keep lines straight when cutting IMO). The battery has lasted a good while and the different speeds have been nice too. While I love the starlock system for it's quick ability to change blades, trying to buy budget options or even reasonable priced starlock blades has been rough. Blades function well, but their easily x2 or x3 the price of other blades for non-starlock systems. The only reason I'm giving a star less is because of the expensive blades

Now I find new uses for it EVERYWHERE!! It is by far the most used tool in my bag, from drywall to tile work, to finishing trim and woodworking projects. I even used it to sharpen my kids pencil for his schoolwork. There is VERY little vibration at the hand when using this tool. This thing is amazing and I use it WAY more than I ever thought I would.

It’s much easier and faster than my Fein for blade changes. The ability to eject a hot blade is one of the best features. Anybody who has had to play hot potato with a blade that needs changing will appreciate it.

Settings give you amazing control of this beast, and allow you get super surgical with it. Powerful cutting with next to no vibration. Charges quickly. Ergonomic. Starlock. Awesome tool!
