The table saw was recently sold so I decided to rip some plywood with this 6.5” circular saw. It fit just fine with my rip-cut guide and was a smooth cut. Being battery powered over corded, I felt that the added battery weight made it easier to put downward pressure on the piece making it easier to push without worrying too much about and kick back. The battery still has charge when I was done making my cuts. So far so good! I would recommend giving this brand and saw a shot!

Had plenty of power. It is heavy, but that’s good for the saw because it has the power to hold it. It cuts in a sturdy line and doesn’t wiggle. The combination blade on it was high quality. It’s really convenient to carry to the job site. The case for it is excellent. The led light is very handy and lets you see exactly where you’re cutting. Overall, this saw helps tremendously with projects both large and small.

Quality is quite good and I really like the dust collection potential. Dust collection isn't perfect, but even my stationary saws aren't perfect either. I have read opinions that say belt drive is a non-starter, but that didn't deter me. I figure that if Harley-Davidson purchasers are happy with multi-thousand dollar motorcycles with belt drive, I shouldn't worry too much about a hand power tool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dram from This is the best 6.5 saw ive ever used Im a lefty and ive trained myslef to use both left and right sided saws but this saw is totally somethig else. This saw is super skinny, which makes it easier to sight the material. In-line feature allows rhe handle fo be behind the saw so its almost like using a rear handle saw. Only negerive is that i have to let the saw wind up a bit before the blade touches the material. Id recommend this saw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fordjunction from A sturdy saw ! I recently started to replace my power tools with Flex. This is my third Flex tool. I picked this saw over the larger unit, as I wanted something powerful and innovative. The saw is narrow and really solidly built. The shoe is super compact and sturdy. I like using a 6 1/2 inch saw, and would only need a larger blade size infrequently. This saw will be more than enough for 99 % of jobs. It is responsive, and the dust extraction port seems perfect at moving waste material ( especially with a vac ). The charger keeps the battery really cool during charging, telling me that Chervon technology is superior. This saw is unlike any I have seen before, and bridges the gaps between different saw designs. It should be noted that due to the design, left handed users should be as happy with it as us right handed users. The bag is adequate, but is not what I would prefer. I know that cases are becoming a rarity, and use more resources than necessary, but, darn.... I would like a case with pro level tools that are not inexpensive to aquire.

Nothing like the craftsman where you have to jam it through to get it on. This slid right into place. It can be used for people who are left or right handed, which I like a lot. The circular saw has a very smooth cut. It doesn't sound like it would do much but it cuts through wood like a knife cuts through butter. The blade was in square right out of the box. There is a handy hanger on top to hang it on a rafter or ladder. I absolutely love the light!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ricky from The most powerful. This 6 1/2" circular saw is the absolute best in its class. There is no other. As a matter of fact it blows out most if not all in the 7 1/4" division. Its depth of cut is 1/6" or an 1/8" less than my Milwaukee 7 1/4". I try to stop the saw cutting a 4"×4"×4" treated lumber with a dull blade and forcing the cut but it never stopped. This is my go to saw

The first day I got it I charged it fully and cut through all the boards needs for an addition to our patio. It cut through each one like butter, no chipping the wood just went through with ease and power. The peace of mind not having to worry about a cord in your way or tripping over it is the best feature! The battery lasts! It also comes in a carry bag and makes it so easy to transport. Took it to a buddies house last weekend and used it to help build a bench. He was impressed too. Highly recommend!
