Starting off with the fact that you don’t have any kickback and with it’s ShockShield vibration suppression you don’t feel it at all. It’s very quiet and does the job perfectly! Super simple setup and the long lasting battery is helpful for longer projects. I used it this weekend helping a neighbor and now he’s going to get one. I’ve used many in the past and the biggest plus with this angle grinder by FLEX is the portability as it’s lightweight and you aren’t tied up to an outlet. Must have for sure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by bradyc from great kit ive got a full cordless setup in De Walt and milwaukee, ive been on the hunt for a top performing VARIABLE SPEED cordless angle grinder, which my brands dont offer. so I ended up here with this one. I do commercial tile work and automotive projects at home And so far this grinder performs as well and better then my De Walt 20v flex volt grinder setup. the adjustable speed is nice for tile hole bits abd other specialty attachments. the only thing I have for complaint is the battery is larger and a bit heavier than the other brands 5ah packs and throws off the grinders balance in my opinion. you get used to it though.

I finally picked up the flex and have been nothing but satisfied. the variable speeds are much more useful then I could have ever imagined and the power is amazing. I will state that the 5ahr battery is really the minimum you want to use with a tool like this. I have not had any problems using different discs or wheels with it after I figured out now to move the plates on the head. I recently picked up the 6ah stacked battery and it is amazing with it.

Good power and the battery lasted 45 minutes of fairly constant use and fully re-charged in 45 minutes. Fits in my hand well and comfortable to use. The variable 5 speed settings is a really nice feature that will come in handy when less rpm’s and more control is needed. The only thing I was not in love with was the guard adjustment, it turns in one direction and clicks in each position and can come off while turning it once you reach a certain position. It really was not a big deal, I just thought the positioning of the guard was not as functional as another brand that has a spring loaded lever to release the guard for positioning.

Boy was I wrong not only did it perform as advertised but it surpassed all my expectations. The battery charges very fast and lasts a lot longer than my top brand tools. Pretty big but the paddle switches are it can handle the rigors of a professional shop. So for home use it is unsurpassed. The only negative I can say about it is the charger is a bit big but other than that a great tool to have whether professional or home use.

I've never owned a battery operated angle grinder before so a direct comparison is difficult but it has performed well. The variable speed setting is great and the charger is quite a beast. Tool and battery both seem to be build well enough that I don't have to treat them like a new iPhone with no case on it. One of my favorite things about the grinder is how quickly it stops when I let go of the switch. By the time my hand can get it to the table, it had stopped. I don't have to wait another 90 seconds for it to wind down like my old Corded grinder.

Not having a cord in the way is amazing! It comes with the battery and charger and I am amazed at how long the battery lasts! I also enjoy having the carrying case to keep everything in one place, also makes for easy transport! Highly recommend!
