Rated 5 out of 5 by 1stspkr from Good value I purchased this drill/driver over several of the more common named drill/drivers due to price and manufacturer claims and reviews . I had a Hatachi drill for about 12 years and could not get new rechargeable batteries. I used the new FLEX drill/driver for about 8 hours on Saturday driving 3" deck screws and drilling 3/6" holes. it worked better than my expectations. I hope FLEX turns out to be my new go to tool company for cordless products. Time will tell. Overall a good tool that appears to be well made with lots of torque and a long lasting battery.

However, I bit the bullet & made the purchase - as my other drill/driver was close near death. When it arrived I was quite happy with the packaging and the paperwork (manuals) included. Once I got it all unpackaged & read through the manual & was 75% satisified .... so far. The weight of the drill driver is a bit on the heavy side, however, the power & the ability to adjsut speed, etc... I was automatically at 110% satisified. However, due to the price of these items, it will be some time before I make another purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by hooziz2005 from Worked for 5 % of the first battery about 6 holes The drill looks like it is made with high-quality materials and I was looking for forward to many years of service. Unfortunately within the first 20 minutes of using it to drill through some light aluminum and steel the internal clutch mechanism must've malfunction because the drill would not turn if it got bound up and the internal clutch ratchet would engage just as if i had it on level 1. even on the DRILL only section( highest setting) the bit could be stopped by hand.

The drill is very responsive and has a good amount of power. The charger provides a full charge fairly quickly however it is a bit noisy. It came with a belt clip and a tip holder but you can only attach one of them as only 1 side of the drill is set up for attaching them. Odd that they didn't put it on both sides. Left handed people won't like the belt clip on the opposite side. Overall I think it's a good drill.

It has great power and it is very light weight which makes it very comfortable and easy to use. I like the 1/2 inch chuck size so I can use the bits that I want. It also comes with a light on it to help you see and a awesome bag to put it in. It also charges very fast and holds a long charge. I highly recommend this amazing product.

Coming from the 18v families, this 24v system does have quite a bit more power and it shows. The case surrounding the motor seems to be well insulated for drops. Battery charges quickly which is great if you only had one on you that day. It's a bit heavier than my other drills, but mainly seems to be the battery. The 2 speed options give me some flexibility with the job. Overall a good start for a new tool line.
