Rated 4 out of 5 by House flipper from Good but could be a tad bit better. It's a beautiful saw and I love it. Clean and accurate cuts and really smooth operation. Easy to use. But there are a few nit picks. 1) It's a bit annoying that the dust port is a bit in the way of the lock for the saw blade when you need to change a saw blade. You have to move the dust port a bit to get to it. 2) I wish the trigger would go all the way back to the handle. It gets a bit tiring that it doesn't on your fingers. 3) A bit on the heavy side but that didn't surprise me. But again it gets a bit tiring. 4) The price is a bit high but you are paying for the battery as well and it's hard to find a dealer with a lower price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Flex rear handed 71/4 circ saw is a hungry beast! This circular saw rats through any hard woods like a hungry beast. Rips or cross-cuts it doesn’t matter. And as long as you are cutting straight, it will not bog down no matter how hard you push it. I recommend this saw over any other out in its class. And battery life is amazing with the stacked lithium 10 mah battery. I worked an entire day building a 8X12 deck cutting all my lumber with the flex circ saw, when completed at the end of the day I still had 1/2 battery left.

In short: It comes with everything you might want in a circular saw and then some. Don't be scared off by the fact that it is wireless - it works just as well as a plug-in, if not better. It powers up to full power instantly, is strong and firm, and comes with all the bells and whistles you could ever need (including angle cutting and lowering and raising the blade based on how deep of a cut you are aiming for). The light is a nice added touch. Only thing to be aware of is that the unit is quite heavy.

Powerful, smooth, shoots the dust away from you, the light, sight line blower, and best of all the sightline kerfs were on point accurate. Can't tell u how much that irritates me when the kerf marks are off, but this one money. Love that its backwards compatible so it can use all my flex batteries. Love the battery indicator window, grip is comfortable not too fat, and I can't pinpoint what it is but it feels like it cuts straighter for me then any of my other rear handles. Oh and I know looks don't really matter but with it looks Flexy sexy with the black blades!

This saw that has tons of power! The saw ripped straight through the two by fours and half inch plywood I used it on. The saw made really clean, fast and smooth cuts. FLEX is known for making great tools and this is definitely no exception! I have used other battery operated saws in the past and there is no comparison to this one. Tons of power with a great battery pack plus a great design, and this saw definitely performs up to contractor standards for sure!

Rated 4 out of 5 by JoJo1818 from I would give the saw a 4.8, but not the kit I am rating this a 4 for the kit and the reason for that is that I think I got a lemon the first time. The stack lithium battery that came with this kit seem have communication problems with the brushless fan. When I leave fan running for 30 minutes and over, the battery indicator goes down to 1 bar eventually. The battery itself also does a blinking 1 bar, but it shows a full 4 bars when it's not connected to the fan. I didn't like this, so I ended up doing an exchange. I have the fan running for an hour with the new stack lithium and it seems to be fine so far, so that kinda indicates that there was something wrong with the first kit I got. As for the rear handle saw, plenty power, but the one thing that bugs me is the location of the locking mechanism; it's just in an odd place where the dust shoot is kinda getting in the way of the hand. The dust shoot is nice to have regardless. Best rear handle saw by far, which tops my Milwaukee and Metabo HPT in shear power. It's a tad lighter and better balanced than the Milwaukee, but heavier than the Metabo HPT (this is my go to because it's lightest of the 3 saws). 10 amp battery is on the huge side and has a very odd design, so this is not going to look good on your smaller tools at all. It is designed specifically for stationary or high demanding/performance tools. Saw cuts very smooth very reminiscence to Makita rear handle saw that I previously owned. Price is also adequate if you compare it to the Makita XGT, which makes the Flex 24v a better option to invest in if price point is important for you.
