This North West Rubber utility mat is ideal for garages, maintenance areas, workstations, or utility flooring, pet care and livestock. This mat can be cut or glued or fastened to any surface and the anti-skid surface is safe and comfortable. Reversible and made from 100% recycled vulcanized rubber, it is 3/4-in thick and of durable construction. It is a versatile and economic solution with many uses. Easy to install and easy to clean, it can be used as an anti-fatigue mat or wherever an impact resistant surface is needed to cut noise and vibration. This product is covered by a limited 1-year warranty.

Does these mats have odours if used indoors for a gym?

Yes they do emit an odour initially. Overtime, it will lessen. From what I read/watched online, you can use a neutral ph cleaner to wipe down the surface and it can help quicken the process. Simple Green is the cleaner that you'll need to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous7 from Great tile for home gym Bought a few of these for an in home gym to replace those awful foam tiles that constantly pull apart or warp from heavy weights. These did a wonderful job. Can easily handle the weight of heavy exercise equipment and weigh enough that they won't shift on their own. They do have a bit of a rubber/tire smell to them but nothing that would be nausea inducing. It does have a bit of stickiness/grip to it as well. I would personally put something underneath it to protect the floor. I used a thin canvass sheet. At 3ft by 4ft and .75inch thick you won't find a better priced tile. Very happy with the purchase.

Only downside to them is the slightly variable thickness (+/- 1 or 2 mm), but not a huge issue given the price. Significantly better than laying 6mm roll.
