Description

This Fiskars steel sledgehammer has a patented IsoCore(TM) Shock Relief System that has an insulating collar that significantly reduces vibration and absorbs shock. Made from forged, heat-treated steel with a rust-resistant coating, this durable sledgehammer has a wedged demolition head that ensures powerful force and directs debris sideways instead of back. The ergonomically contoured handle provides comfort and control, while the engineered textured grip helps draw away moisture and prevents blisters.

The new design includes a composite IsoCore handle that is incredibly strong and absorbs impact well. The head has 2 different striking surfaces but yet is balanced. The flat side of the head has an ample amount of surface area with a tapered edge to allow you to hit your target. The beveled side of the head allows you to strike an object with maximum force delivered to a smaller area which helps break up material like concrete. Directly below the head is a handle guard that prevents damage to the handle incase someone misses the target. This is the best Sledgehammer with a beefy 10 pound head. As you can tell by this review, I like it a lot!

The handle will not split as it is made of durable materials. The handle provides a comfortable grip that allows for east swinging. Another nice feature is the shape of the head. It is designed for demolition and really does speed up demolition projects. I am very impressed with the weight and abilities of this sledgehammer. I know it will be my go to demolition hammer for years to come

It worked great for breaking up the concrete around my bent fence posts and provided the weight and shape needed for my heavy-duty demolition work. I was also amazed by this hammer's touted Shock Control System. I've used other sledge hammers in the past and remember how much vibration and strain you can get from using them but this sledge hammer definitely felt like it reduced the vibration and shock I felt while using it, which allowed me to get the job done faster. Thank-you Fiskars for making a High-Quality SledgeHammer! 5 Stars!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sledge hammer has been coming in handy for many outdoor renovation projects I have been working on. The sledge hammer is made extremely well. It is high quality. It is the perfect length for a good swing and it swings with little effort. The weight is also perfect on it. I love how the head of it is made, I love that it has a more spear side and a normal side. Highly recommend.

Very sturdy and durable. Also when using it the impact isn't so hard on your hands the vibration isn't bad at all either. All around a great sledge hammer to have around for all your tough projects around your yard.

Old concrete sidewalks, walls, kitchen cabinets, nothing stands in its way. The non-slip grip makes it feel super secure in your hands and the wedged side/end is an excellent addition to a traditional sledge.

It has a really comfortable handle, but I would still recommend gloves to avoid blisters if you are going to be using it for an extended period of time. It feels strong and it hits strong. It's pretty top heavy, so I found it easier to grip a little further up on the handle for support.
