Description
Tough soils won't resist Fiskars' powerful steel long-handled tiller, featuring heavy-duty, all-steel, welded construction with hardened steel tines that provide greater durability compared to wood-handled tools. Moreover, these tines won't flex like fibreglass. Its large foot platform maximizes force when driving the six, arrow-tipped tines into the soil, and a long handle eliminates sore knees from kneeling and backache from bending and stooping. T-handle offers a secure, two-handed grip and excellent control. Get the job done faster all growing season long with a lightweight, ergonomic tool equipped with pointed and serrated edges for piercing and manipulating tough soil.
- Padded T-grip handles for improved comfort and leverage
- Arrow-tipped tines easily pierce soil
- Welded steel construction stands up to heavy use
- Larger step for greater penetrating power

Glad I read the reviews
So i was going to purchase the smaller tiller with the metal spiked wheels but after reading the reviews, decided to go with this one. This one is AWESOME. Even starting in clay like soil where I thought it would be a challenge. It took a little longer but it chewed right into it. However; you should really purchase a good pair of gloves. My lightweight gradening gloves wore some wicked blisters on my hands...but my flower bed looks good. I wouldnt plan on doing any large areas (12 x 4 ft) unless your a triathlete. It is pretty tiring to use it for ground breaking. But it didnt break, it did an excellent job, and I am so glad I went with this one; not the other.

Great little hand tiller
i bought this to breakup some hard compacted clay soil. wow! it actually worked great. i thought i was going to be outside forever with a hoe working it up. this little dandy took almost no time. start slow so you see how tough the soil is then you'll have no trouble at all. if its very hard hit the ground once with a shovel or maddock if your worried about the tines breaking (but i wouldnt worry about that happening). and it's plenty tall. i am 6'3" and my wife is 5'3" and we can both use it without any trouble.

Easy to use
I bought this tiller to remove weeds and grass in my flower beds and it works great! It really is as easy to use as the advertisement says. It saved me from sitting on the ground or bending over to pull weeds. I highly recommend this product.

Great Purchase
Needed something to dig up ground for a small garden. I was very skeptical when I bought this, but it works great. The ground was hard, but this little tiller worked wonders. You need a little upper body strength, which is all I have. Made very sturdy. Great buy for small areas, wear gloves when using it, because you will get blisters. Great buy.

Good Tool
I used this tool to help break up hard clay in the ground as I was digging a hole for a tree. It's very well built and definately made the job easier.

good purchase
First time I buy a tool to break up compacted, hard soil. It has not rained here in the area I live and I want to improve my backyard cleaning it from weeds.
This tool has worked fine. It has a good height. All I need are my gardening gloves and voila!

Easy to use and sturdy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Fiskars Extended Reach Tiller to help break up the soil in my raised beds as well as in my large vegetable garden. We live in an area with very dense clay soil and it is often difficult to work with. This tiller has made our work much easier when prepping beds and replanting during the growing season. It is easier to break up and aerate the dense soil so we can work in soil supplements and plant food. I cannot imagine just using a hoe and shovel again after having used this tool. It has become an incredibly valuable tool to have on hand for our yard and gardens.

Love the Fiskar Brand and Products
Very easy to use and works well. I recommend for previously worked areas (tilled, mulched over time) as the product is not meant to till hard soils.
