Did more than expected!
These loppers did way more than expected, bought them for a front yard project of tearing down some holly bushes and replacing them with roses. The Fiskar loppers removed limbs and branches way over the 1-5\8 rating size and still remain sharp after cutting down roots in clay sandy soil. I have several Fiskar products and will continue to purchase more of them.

Really Sharp
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw all the great reviews on this lopper and now I know why. They really are sharp and cut easily. I would highly recommend them to friends and family.

Excellent Lopper!
I purchased this lopper to clean up a huge pile tree trimmings.
They performed well above my expectations!
They easily handled the rated diameter of my fresh cut tree limbs.
They are light weight, and comfortable to use.
I did check the Fiskars web site and discovered that in case I ever need them, replacement cutting blades are available at an inexpensive affordable price.
I can highly recommend these loppers for home use.

Great product!
Bought these a couple weeks ago to take out a row of deep-rooted and wide-ranging hedges along the side of my house and a couple bushes in the front. Some had 3/4 to 1-inch branches near the base, and these sliced through them like butter! Made my job far easier.
Pros:
-Easy cutting
-Comfortable handles
-Great strength
Cons:
-Due to the curve of the non-cutting part of the blade apparatus, you have to open these pretty wide to cut larger branches–almost awkwardly so. For right spaces or reaching through bushes, a little inconvenient, but not a deal-breaker!
-On my first use, a piece of the sharp edge almost immediately broke off due to how thin the blade is at the cutting edge. Haven’t noticed any difference in cutting action, as it was maybe a couple millimeters, but still, was slightly surprised to see that.

Beast!!
This design makes physics your friend and makes your trimming job a breeze. I made all my siblings jealous when we went to tackle a huuuuge trimming/overgrowth landscaping project. Chopped the 10yr old buck thorn (*insert favorite curse word*) and giant pine limbs like butta. My 8yr old was able to take down a 15ft, 2" diameter untamed oak tree by himself with these. He was looking for any chance he got to help with trimming do to the ease and capability of these bad boys.

Great loppers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these loopers because I broke 2 previous pairs. These loppers are very robust. I used them right away to trim off a foot of lower limbs on a 16ft pine tree. The loppers did a great job and I’m very pleased with this purchase.
