Install could be improved
Pro:
- Can change the color temperature at the light switch by turning it on/off quickly.
- Several color temperature choices.
- Bright enough for what it is.
Con:
- Mounting bracket is difficult to align.
- Safety cable broke during install.
- Rail arms are too short. The light wouldn't slide on with them engaged because it doesn't swing back far enough.
- Didn't sit flush at the ends. Instead of the central mount, it would be better if the front plate was removable allowing each side to be screwed into the ceiling.

One of the most difficult fixtures I’ve installed
You are likely replacing a fluorescent fixture - like many houses for fluorescent fixtures - all I had was a wire hanging out of the ceiling - ( step 3 ) so back to the hardware store to pick up a junction box - since there is no weight you can get an old world box that has hindge that mounts to the drywall - but you also need a drywall saw to cut it - careful around the wires - the swing arm tolerances for the tiny screw ( step 9 ) we’re off - so balancing the fixture with one hand and a magnetic screw driver to take it off and get the swing arm in - then three people to press the fixture to the ceiling while you gently use a rubber mallet to tap it in place - it was a couple day project. Once done it looks pretty.
