Could the Mayne 20-in black square planter be used upside down as a stand to support another pot on top. (need to raise the upper pot with plant). The bottom would be visible. Could it take the weight of an 18" resin pot with soil etc.
These planters are very sturdy! I’m certain that they would be able to hold the weight!

Do you have to drain water before winter?
I have 5 of these planters. I do not drain them in the winter and have not had a problem. If your concerned cover the tops to avoid additional water collecting inside the planter especially if the water may be frozen at the bottom and any excess water will not drain.

I purchased 2 of these planter boxes. If they are not completely drained, and freeze over winter ( -35c ) will they split? I did drain them, but now it is pouring rain again. Will there be enough expansion inside to accommodate water freezing?
Sorry for the late response. Our planters are 4 season and can handle the harsh winters. Do your best to drain them. Our double walled planters have enough room for expansion it the water within freezes. If it fills a bit and freezes it should be fine. Our warranty covers bulging, cracking and fading. They are also made of polyethylene and this type of material has memory. If you place it back in the warm sun when the spring comes for a day or two the shape will come back. Thanks!

How do I know the reservoir is full?
The small plastic plugs in the bottom interior of the planter - Remove? Or leave in place?

Very, very nice!
I bought four of these, two to use as planters, and two to add a stone top and use as small outdoor end tables. I'm very pleased. The double wall construction is heavier and nicer than I expected, and while you can look at it and realize it's plastic, it's not obviously plastic and cheap looking at all from a quick glance. I wish they were a little less expensive but I understand why they're not, and I'm willing to pay a little extra to buy something that is made in the USA.

Truthfully, I purchased this planter on-line with the understanding that I could always return it. I am glad to report that was not the case. The planter is exactly what I was looking for. It is sturdy, has a drainage system, and the dimensions were exact. I felt it was fairly priced and it was delivered in the time frame that was stated. I am extremely happy with the product and with Lowe's service.

Just what I ordered!!!
I was delighted with the containers that I ordered for our garden. They are the perfect measurements and the quality of the plastic was a high grade. I would definitely recommend this to friends and have received lots of compliments as they are in are front door entry. A big thumbs up!!! They are a bit pricey, but worth the money invested. Lets see how they hold up this winter...

Great product!
