Description
EZ Sand Techniseal polymer sand prevents weed growth, repels ants and other insect infestations. This sustainable material (LEED certified) helps prevent paving stone erosion. Made of graded sand and binder, this highly reliable residential jointing sand flows smoothly into the joints and lets you install pavers quickly and efficiently. Recommended for walkways and patios. Tan colour.

Do not buy, bad product
Do not buy: seems to bond well and 3 days later we had a rain and it is back to sand. Tried 3 times and same result.

Morceaux durcis de sable
J’ai acheté ce sac EZ sand ce matin et quand j’ai versé mon sable, j’ai retrouvé des morceaux déjà durcis. Je pose la question concernant l’entreposage du sac ou de la qualité du sable! Au moins je sais que le produit durci.

Buyer Beware
After spending two days removing old polymeric sand from paver joints, I applied new sand only to be very disappointed with the results. The sand didn’t hardened and in several areas it actually washed out of the joints. Now I need to redo the entire process,
remove the ineffective sand from the paver joints and reapply new sand from a different manufacturer.
Overall, very frustrating and time consuming product to use.

Ne durcit pas
Le sable n'a jamais durcit. J'ai retourné le sac. J'ai ensuite acheté un produit similaire d'une autre marque et j'ai eu un excellent résultat. C'était dur comme du béton.

The product does EXACTLY what it’s supposed to do if you READ the instructions. Water it, then wait a few minutes. Water it again where you see white suds. Hardens like a ROCK!

No more weeds or ants
This product works exactly as advertised. After taking apart, leveling and reassembling my walkway, I used this product. There are about 20 steps with pictograms on how to use this product. The MOST important one, from my perspective, is that this product will become hard as cement once the spraying with water step is completed. So, if you think that some area has too little or too much product, correct it first because once it hardens, you cannot add more product and water again. It will not stick. In my opinion, this product is not meant to be used on top of sand. It needs to fill the entire cavity to work effectively. Note: if the reno centre stores this product outside I would check the bag carefully for any dings. If any water gets inside I doubt the product will work properly.
