Rated 1 out of 5 by PMI from Strange design Purchased this today to use with my GLM80 line laser to take multiple data points on an inside 6' radius. Well, it turns out for whatever reason Bosch decided not to put the 1/4-20 mounting stud above the center of the tripod, it's offset maybe 1/2'' to 5/8''. That means that as you swivel around a 360 degrees space the point in which the line laser reads back to, in the respective mode, keeps changing location. I can't for the life of me figure out why in the world anyone would design such a thing. How much easier would it have been to make the mounting point also the center point so this can be used in a 360 degree environment?

Rated 5 out of 5 by mellis1990 from Smart Purchase for your Level/Square! If you are purchasing a level/square, I recommend pairing this with it. It has built-in levels, so if you do not have an autolevel square/level, then you can use this. It is compact and light, but that does mean it is plastic. I recommend buying this if you have a Bosch Laser Square that's auto-leveling. You can proceed to work much faster for performing in-field fabrication and making a quality job!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ultiweb from Recommend I like the fact that even though this can be used as a camera tripod, it is really made for laser levels, but can be used for either if the need arises. It has both horizontal and vertical spirit levels which make it easy to know how far in or out of level your laser is, if on uneven ground. I kind of like the quick attach/detach apparatus although it does limit you to one device. Taking it off and putting it on is more of a pain than just screwing your device directly onto the tripod. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. The tripod is rock steady and has worked fine so far. I have not tried it in windy conditions so don't yet know about that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jpap from Tripod Not bad for interior work. Doesn't extend vey high so I placed it on saw horses with plywood, so that I could transfer my level marks just a few inches for a nine foot ceiling.

For me, this is clearly five stars. Not only do I use it with my Bosch laser, I also use it with a camera. It's a fantastic price for this level of quality!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by EarlMac from Does the trick! I bought this tripod for use with a Bosch laser measuring device. Although most measurements can be taken hand held, I needed to measure the radii of several large circle from a central location and this tripod did the trick. It is probably the same a a photography tripod but it does seem to be of high quality. I would definitely recommend this unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Deborah from Good value I use this to mount a Ryobi laser level. It's good value for what I need and works great , except the height adjustment handle pops out at the least effort. You can get it back in, but it is a nuisance.
