I have even exceeded the the limits the company sets on it for capacity. And everytime it cuts as good as the first. Only problem i had was the factory degree labels were off about 1 degree acording to my square. And there was a washer that prevented it from moving the needed distance. So i took it out and ground about 1/4" off one side. Whole thing took 5 min. And its perfect now. I have used evolution tools several times in the past, at work. Always went good. I would highly recommend this. Great power and solid craftsmanship.

I ordered it on line at lowes.com and it was delivered a week later. I have now used this to cut up a bunch of Steel Square .120 wall tubing and I can tell you without a doubt it cuts fast and clean. I have a band saw, reciprocal saw and plasma cutter and I like this so much better. I does make a mess with the little chips. The cut is smooth and cool. The only con I have found is there are no mounting holes on the table to mount this saw on a portable stand. I have a work around in mind, but wish it had mounting holes.

I SUGGEST YOU SELL YOUR ABRASIVE DISC CUT OFF SAWS AND STEP IT UP TO ONE OF THESE DRY CUTTING SAWS. MAKING MITERED CORNERS HAS NEVER BEEN THIS EASY MY CUTS ARE CLEAN AND STRAIGHT THE BLADE DOES NOT VIER OFF LIKE A BANDSAW OR AN ABRASIVE CUT OFF WHEEL ON A STANDARD CHOP SAW. BUT KEEP IN MIND THESE DRY CUT BLADES ARE DESIGNED FOR SAW WITH LESS THAN 1800 RPM!!!! I BELIEVE THIS MODEL IS AROUND 1450RPM

I have used these saws in the past, so I got the well drilling company I worked for to buy one when we were rebuilding a very large rig Derrick to speed things up and to get very true cuts which the "cheap" abrasive saws absolutely cannot do. Trust me it is the best investment you can possibly make, you definitely won't go back

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kevin from So much better than a band saw... I've been using a band saw for years to cut all my metal pieces, and this chop saw puts that to shame! Cuts are straight, very fast, and cool to touch. The band saw took about ten times longer to make a cut, and never made a straight line. This is so much faster and nicer, especially for doing a project that requires cutting multiple pieces. If you are thinking about getting a chop saw, do it! Get this one instead of the older "grinder" type of saws, and you'll be glad you did.
