Description
Evolution's 7-1/4-in 40-tooth mild steel cutting blade uses the highest-grade carbide for increased durability, hardened blade body to ensure the blade runs truer for longer, and ultra-high grade brazing techniques. These make it the ideal choice for cutting mild steel and ferrous metals. Leaving an instantly workable finish and producing virtually no heat, burrs, or sparks. Common applications include square tube, angle iron, mild steel plate, pipe, and tube.

I used this blade to cut 2”x2”x1/8” mild steel tube. It cuts great until it doesn’t. After 22 cuts it was dull and wouldn’t cut any more. I didn’t force it used slow steady feed. It makes very nice cuts when it’s sharp. I needed 3 blades to get through my project. I wish it lasted longer.

Overall pleased with it metal blade doesn’t last too long a smaller blade a larger blade would last longer but for the unit itself overall good

this blade did cut a 3/16 thick metal sheet for about 2 feet in length. and got dull. useless waste of money

It is a nice blade, cuts well. But I did buy a Diablo steeDiablo. #D0748CF to compare and it is lasting longer. The evolution blade is still cutting just not as clean. Probably 15 cuts on evolution. About 40 cuts on diablo.

Love this thing I didn't expect it to cut better than my diabloe blades but I was surprised. It cuts thru 1/4" mild steel like a hot knife thru butter.
