Used to be great filters. Not anymore.
I've been using everydrop filters in my Kitchenaid fridge for many years - worked great!
The most recent filter seemed to be clogging up, giving us a very slow stream of water, even though it's only been 1-2 months since the last one was installed, and the "replace filter" light is not lit up yet. I always keep extras on hand, so I put a new one in yesterday. Got a strong stream for about 10-20 seconds, then after the air worked its way through the system, ended up with a very very weak stream, very similar to what others comment in their reviews here. It would take several minutes to fill a glass.
I pulled out another brand new everdrop filter, installed it, and got the very same result. As a last resort, I went out to Rona and purchased a different brand, and WOW, that one works perfectly!!! My suspicion is now confirmed ... my latest everydrop filters are defective.
We don't live in a perfect world, and manufacturing defects can happen with any product. But how the manufacturer deals with it is key. I called the everdrop 800 number (posted in the replies to other reviews here) and learned that they do not get involved in any purchase done from a retail outlet. Even if my receipt is over 90 days old (the extent of the retailer's responsibility), and even if it is clearly a manufacturing defect. No interest in replacing defective products.
In fact, their only recommendation was to have a service technician examine the fridge for repairs. Well it's a good thing I didn't follow that advice - saved myself lots of $$$ by just buying a different brand filter instead.

Poor water flow
We are on a subscription and continue to have to change the filter well before the recommended 6 months. We are lucky to get 3 months out of each filter!!

Last filter wasn't good.
I bought the two pack a few months back, the first one was great. The second one we just replaced about a little less than 2 months ago and it's already appears to be need replacing. Now we don't replace them every 6 months we usually do it about the 4.5-5 months since we drink a lot of water. This last filter needs replacing now, it's exceptionally slow to dispense now. I'm not impressed and now need to order a replacement when we should be able to get at least 2-3 months out of it. I think we need to look for replacement filters. For the price of these filters I expect it to last longer than just under 2 months. I would've given 4 stars if they both worked but since only one worked I gave it 2 stars. As I mentioned, I expect better quality at this price point.

Flow Rate Low after just one month
All of my previous filters lasted at least the recommended length of time with no issues. This one was installed at the end of July and the flow rate is now minimal (we were away for the month of September so basically it lasted one month).

Stopped working after a week
I had purchased these filters to work with my Kitchen Aid fridge. The last three that I have purchased stopped working properly after a week or two of use. They causes a "rattling/vibrating" noise to occur. Changed to a new brand, not a single issue.
