Description

This Everest laminate flooring by Mono Serra is grey with a wood-grain finish. This 31-AC3 class floor was designed for residential use. It features V-shaped micro grooves on all 4 sides and a plank-by-plank UNIFIT installation system. Underlay not included. Can be installed on an underfloor heating system and is compatible with a heating cable. Each box contains 6 boards (12 mm x 189 mm x 1200 mm) and covers 14.59 sq ft. This product is backed by a 15-year limited warranty.

This environmentally product is PEFC certified and is a low emissions product (E1)

Is this floor what resistant?

If you are asking water resistant, I can tell you that it is very water resistant. I have tried putting a small piece of this laminate under a water fountain for a week. In the first 24 hours, it hardly have any distortion. Then after one week of soaking under the fountain, only the edge expanded a tiny bit but not so much like one would expect if it was a piece of particle board. So if you have a spill on this laminate and you clean it up within an hour, I am sure it would be fine.

where to purchase the stairs nose for this design and model. any URL ?

I don't where to buy but after only having this flooring for a year, it's full of Knicks and scrapes. I would never use it on stairs. So much work for such a small amount of time this flooring will last. Company will only honor the warranty when a 1cm squared individual spot is ruined.

Does this have an attached pad or do you need to purchase underlay for concrete installation?

This does not come with attached pad. You need to add underlay before installing this laminate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Navy11 from Worked well with Wall Installation Instructions If anyone is thinking of putting this on the wall, not the floor, this is the video that Mono Serra sent me as a guide https://mohawk.blob.core.windows.net/pergo/pdfs/Pergo_Horizontal_Wall_Installation.pdf and YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tr1X-b0Ituk&ab_channel=PergoFlooringU.S shows their method of Horizontal Wall Installation. Start at the bottom, glue every board and use a brad nailer through the tongue to attach it to the studs. It worked very well for me, and the short boards were easier to install around pipes, etc. than the 4x8 wall panels I had considered for the furnace room. It's not easy to cut, but with new laminate blades on my jigsaw and on the mitre saw, it worked well enough. It was a bargain, on sale, and it looks great. I would use it again. Mono Serra customer service was very impressive in answering my questions and providing tips (e.g., cut the bottom board, not the top, it's less visible, or in my case, use a higher baseboard moulding and start the first row up a few inches from the floor so you don't need to cut them at all--I filled in the gap with some off cuts to fill in the bottom gap before installing moulding). It's thick (1/2 inch) and solid. I'm very pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pplizz from Quick to install My 73-year old mother and myself took 3 hours to do half the room (11x20). We did require a mallet to pound in each plank so it clips. So I give it 4 stars for it. However, the product clips in really, really perfectly. I insyalled it in my basement floor over raised pluwood subfloor. I found the product adapted well to a slightly uneven subfloor (the underlay wasn't the best install - we got stuck with someone else's work and the seams from 2 underlay sheets overlap in many areas, hence doubling the thickness unevenly at the seams). Downside: I purchased the planks online. And only realized during install that the planks are NOT gray as designated in the product description. They have a more of a beige undertone wether than gray. The simulated wood veins are gray.
