Are the brackets adjustable for a bulkhead or, if hanging from the ceiling, to accommodate 84" curtains that I don't want covering a baseboard heater?

I believe that the brackets will work for a wall or a bulkhead.

The hardware that comes with the Umbra rods doesn’t extend far enough from the wall. Is there any hardware I can get that extends at least 5” and would fit the Umbra curtain rods?

How far from the wall does the Curtain bracket extend? I need ones that extend at least 5 inches.

So glad I did. It looks great and fit great. Super easy to install. It can with 3 brackets but I only used 2. Nice and sturdy so it should hold up well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by VinceP from Good but with design flaw This is an attractive rod but in installing it I realized there are two flaws with it. I have a 10 ft window so I needed to use the centre rod. The centre rod has no notches to indicate equidistance and no indicator when you're reaching the end. I put up one side fine but when when I was putting up the other side, I pulled out the centre rod too far and the curtains feel to the floor and in the process twisted the bracket. I was surprised that that could even happened. I was able to twist it back through counterbalancing and I guess it's designed to flex but this could have been avoided if the bracket was a half circle and not a full circle. So I don't pull out the centre rod too far again, I applied Frog tape on both ends so I would know when I'm getting to the end.

The finish is shiny and the ends are rounded for a sophisticated look. I would reccomend this to anyone that wants a beautiful addition to their curtains!

The product is high quality and very well made However, should you intent to open it fully, you will need more support. Each plank comes with three. We used 4 supports in order to prevent sinking down, as 3 wasn’t enough.
