Good hickory handle for vintage axe head
I bought this replacement handle for my vintage German Oxhead axe head, the head is 850g or 1.80lb. Eye size 60mm x 20mm. Needed to use rasp to remove bit of wood to make it fit. Wood grain is good and handle is straight, there were couple handle in the store that is warped, so be careful pick the good ones. Overall the quality is very good, I’m very happy to make this purchase! This replacement handle does not come with wood/metal wedges.
