How is this mounted to a brick fire place?
We have foe brick on our wall and all we did was drill holes where we needed to put the shelf with a drill bit that goes through brick and cement and hit the stud on the wall we had to use 5 inch screws to go through the rock to hit the wall to put up the anchor for the shelf.

What is the color ? Would it match grey n beige colors
Yes!! Our living room has all of the natural colours and it is perfect!! It is not a really dark brown but more the colour of a hazel nut. Looks like the natural colour of tree bark. Hope this helps

Decent rustic mantel for the price
Looks great. Wish they had options of having longer length mantels, however, it still fits our wall nicely. Mounting and install is quite easy, but the shelf does sag a little as it just rest on the mounting cleat..a place to secure the mantel to the wall or cleat would have made it a bit better. All in all a good mantel though. Got on clearance so was exceptional value

Don’t waste your money on this piece of scrap...
Made from recycled pallet wood in Vietnam.. Find an abandoned pallet of your own, nail 6 slats together and “voila”, you’ve just copied this mantle for free and saved yourself a hundred bucks...

Speed and ease
Very impressed at how fast and easy it was to order online. The look and colour is exactly the way it looks in the picture. I do wish the top of the mantle had the joints completely even to make it look like one piece of wood and make it easier to clean without so many edges for dust to collect. It was a very good price.

Looks great!
Had the wall and hearth around the gas stove redone to a more modern look and the new mantle shelf completed the project. Looks great and the colour is perfect. Easy enough to install over the stone also.
