What specifications would you recommend for the extension cord of at least 50 feet or 15 meters for the SJ625E?
In the manual it recommends the type of extension cord... I was able to buy one at 75% off... keep an eye on sales as they are expensive.

Are the wheels on this blower powered by the motor or is it strictly a push model
You push the mower, but it is not difficult. It paid itself off last winter alone. Used it over 30 times.

Awesome.... tested in 12" snow
Decided to take the plunge... major benefits I was looking for was weight, starting, maintenance and ease of storage. Love it, 5 stars for all of the above.
You can work through more than 12" by tilting upwards and making two cuts... cleared my plowed in drive entrance in 5 mins... probably 18" plow packed.
The photos and video show it clearing 8" this morning... I then went into the back yard and cleared over 12".
Using a 14 extension on 100' ... seems to be fine. Wound onto the wall mounted garden hose reel... works really well.
Shop around for the best deal in extension cords.... prices vary hugely.

Better than what I expected!
This model is more powerfull than I expected for an electric snow blower. It had it's test in the recent east coast blizzard. The machine handled the over one foot of snow without a problem. Some drifts were over four feet high, and the model SJ625E performed great. You just have to learn the limits it has. It will move the snow, just don't bog it down by trying to go to quickly, just gradually move it into the drift, back out a bit, and move forward again, and so on. If you are in a rush, buy a snow plow. Like I said, it worked flawlessly, and went beyond my expectations in performance. I would recomend it to anyone.

You can't beat the quality for the price
I have used gas snow blowers before but I have never used a electric blower until I used this. I was disappointed at first because it just felt so flimsy but once I started using it and got use to it I am impressed I had a block of ice the size of two fists go into the auger I never even saw it but before it could do any damage the machine stalled. My only complaints about it are I wish the light could stay on all of the time and not just when the machine is running also the box it was shipped in was all beat up and the handle to turn the chute was missing but 1 phone call and it was shipped to my house. I am glad I ordered this snow blower and would recommend them to anyone.

Great Value
I chose this snowblower because I wanted something light and easy that doesn't require me to mess around with gasoline. This unit has been perfect. I can lift it with one hand and it starts easily. It handles fluffy snow like a breeze, but will still plow through 6 inches of wet west-coast snow. A couple of days when the snow was deeper I would just tilt the unit to plow the top layer of snow, then go back over to plow the base layer. It really does a great job for the money. On really heavy snow days I sound I had to let it rest a little while in the middle of the job as I didn't want to overtax the engine. It has been worth its weight in gold and is a great choice.

Fantastic for residential use!
This snow thrower is perfect for our home use. It is as wide (21") as many of the gas powered throwers (but avoids the tedious small engine maintenance) and very effective. This machine easily handles 12" snow and throws it a good 20-25 feet, depending on how you set the deflector. I have a 100' extension cord which gives me plenty of range to clear all the sidewalks and driveways around our home. It is also light enough and small enough and clean enough that I can lift it into the back of our minivan and drive it over to my elderly mother's home and clear all her snow in a matter of minutes.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I have used it several times since purchase and I am not disappointed. It was the best price, the larges amps, and the widest size for the ones in this category. I compared ones from 18 to 21 in, 13 to 15 amps, different brands, different stores and this one had the most for the best price (it was also on sale at the time, my luck), but even if it wasn't on sale it would have won. It was easy to assemble, and light enough to carry were needed. Goes through fresh snow no problem and can deal with some lumps with ease. For older snow, I prep with a shovel to loose amounts and it has no problem with that. This is a great tool for light quick jobs.

First Snow Blower (electric or otherwise)
First snow fall of the season was a fluffy light 6" accumulation. Snow Joe goes right to the pavement to clean and blow the snow a good 20'. But after a while the shute clogged and would have to stop the process for a clean-out. The electric cord is somewhat a pain but a gas unit would have other issues I don't want to deal with.
The shute works better in a forward facing position but you are re-plowing the already plowed snow. A 21" wide capacity at times was too wide and could only successfully plow half that amount.
Good unit so far for first use.
The user instruction that came with the machine were poor at best.
Statement of the obvious- There is a learning curve for for the new user.

Hi,
I used my new Snow Joe for the first time on the weekend to clean my deck of about 15 cm of light powder snow. It worked flawlessly. After a short time (5 min) of getting used to it, I found the on/off, redirection of snow exhaust, and overall use -
especially ensuring the extension cord stayed out of the way - all went fine.
The unit blew the snow beautifully over and through the deck hand rails. It was actually fun using this blower - I could easily move it up and down the stairs as the unit isn't heavy and the wheel diameter is more than enough - I'm sure that this light, easy to use blower could handle my large driveway quite well. Love it! Strongly recommend it!!
