What are the main differences between the 2102 and the 2135 models?
Hi BiggerAl, good question. The LM2102SP has a single blade whereas the LM2135SP has a dual blade system. The layout of the buttons and levers is also different on each model. There is a quick compare feature on the EGO website but we'd be happy to explain the differences: 855 346 5656. Thank you for your question.

What are the watt hours?
Hi JOXHALL, interesting question. The Volts are 56 and the Ah is 7.5Ah. The voltage determines the power and Ah determines the run time. Please contact the EGO team for further assistance: 1-855-346-5656. Thank you for your question.

Love it so far!
Easy to set up. I used it one time so far and the charge was plenty for my 1/4 acre lot. Some of the grass was really tall and thick and this thing cut right through like a champ. I'm used to seeing my neighbor's gas mower getting bogged down in slightly high grass but this thing was great in 10 inch tall annual rye (one area) that shows up every spring. Also, all the clippings were finely chopped up. Didn't leave any clumps, even where the grass was unusually high. Time will tell how the battery life works out but so far this thing is a beast but at half the weight of a traditional mower and no gas, oil. spark plugs, air filters, etc.

This is the Tesla of mowers
My new toy looks like it came from the Ice Planet (an old line of Lego). It’s so easy to start, mows great, doesn’t leave such big ruts in the yard, and does it all so quietly. I’m trying mulching for the first time and I gotta say, it’s nice not bagging. The clippings are tiny and disappear pretty quickly. I can mow our quarter acre in about 15 minutes and it uses 40% of a battery charge...20% if I don’t use the self-propelled feature. I like that I can disengage the mower blades and just use the self-propel to walk the mower back to the garage. I’m really happy with the performance, and I am doing one more tiny thing to help our planet.

bad mulching
Bought this mower 5/15/2021 and used it about 6 times, mulching function is terrible. My yard is St. Augustine and I usually mow every 10 -12 days, but now mowing at least once per week.. My previous gas mowers left a few uncut blades but this EGO leaves 5-10 uncut blades per swath (about 90 feet per swath). I've tried using both cutting blades, raised the mower to its maximum height, ensured the deck is free from grass clumps, and cut my speed to less than walking speed, but still getting lots of uncut blades. I would not recommend this mower if you have long bladed grass.
On the plus side, battery life is good and the EGO is lighter than a gas mower.

Really nice machine
Overall, a really great machine. Cuts good, has good run time and charges very fast. It's also very easy to use. Controls are laid out perfectly. Also nice that it comes with 3 different kinds of blades: bagging, mulching, and high run time blade. Those are the positives. The first negative is 'side-discharge.' Basically it's not terribly useful. Doesn't discharge clippings very well at all. So it makes sense to mulch or bag. Which it does perfectly. Also like how it folds up. Makes it easy to store. And clean. Easy to clean under it when it's folded up. I do recommend it. It's definitely worth the money to me.

Mulching not as good as gas driven mowers.
Still lacking what I consider a good mulching mower. The new model LM2130SP is much better than the first EGO model but still lacks pulling power of a gas model Toro mower. I had to go over lawn several times to mulch leaves off the lawn. The cutting style of two blades is a big improvement as well as the battery indicator level. Self propel is excellent but you have to get familiar with control when you make turns or wheels get locked up. For cleaning I would like to have a better way to hose off the underneath housing so that you don't damage brushless motor. Other than that I very happy that I upgraded to the LM2130SP mower.

Why did I wait so long to go electric?
Way better than my old gas mower. Push a button to start. No pulling a cord 10-15 times to get it started. Love the walking (self-propelled) adjustment, I can go slower on hilly areas, faster on flatter areas, or I can turn it off and it's lightweight enough to manuver back and forth in small spaces. Took only 1 hour to charge the battery and it cut my whole lawn on just half a charge. Easy to stop if I spot something that needs to be removed on the grass and restart. I love this mower. And so easy to fold and store upright. As a woman in her 60's I am so happy. Can't wait to mow the lawn again.

Initial use review
I replaced an old noisy gnas mower with this for my 1,200 S.F. front yard, & so wife can help. It is mostly plastic, but seems very sturdy. I am not an engineer, but it seems well made. This 1st mowing barely used any battery capacity!
I used the rear discharge chute throwing grass to the side. The "extended cut time" blade did not create enough air velocity to push much grass out the chute. I will use the "High-Iift" bagging blade. I am sure this will work much better as the blade tips will move air & grass cuttings.
The yard looks even & smooth so I am happy so far. We like how quiet it is too. Instructions are very good.

Great Product but Get 2nd Battery if Large Yard
I love this lawn mower and highly recommend it! It cuts fantastically, the battery charges quickly, and it is light enough for me to push without the self-propel feature. It also is a bit quieter than my old gas mower and there are no gasoline fumes! It was easy for my husband to put together and using the battery is super simple. I love the battery light icon that tells me approximately where I am in a charge while I mow. The one thing about this mower is use-time. I have a .33 acre lot and it took me 3.5 charges to do the whole lawn. I will be buying a second battery so I can swap them out and complete the process in one go.
