Description
The EGO Power+ cordless snow blower offers superior snow removal power without the drawbacks of gas-powered snow blowers. Featuring a high-performance brushless motor and powered by two EGO 56V ARC 7.5 A lithium batteries (sold separately), the snowblower can plow through massive and wet snowbanks, and throw snow up to a distance of 40 feet. The steel auger cuts through snow and ice piles 50% faster than standard augers, which is perfect during snowstorms when city snowplows leave hardened snow piles. The handle can be quickly folded to add storage flexibility, and LED headlights let you clear snow at nightfall. This model is recommended for clearing 8-in deep snow, in 14-car driveways.

I’m impressed by the glowing reviews. What happens if I wake up after a monster 40cm overnight snowfall, as occurred this week? Will the snowblower get the job done, or be completely overwhelmed?
Hello,
The intake height for this model is 13". The steel auger is intended for most any type of snow and run time will be affected based on how much snow as well as the type of snow. For further information feel free to contact our Customer Support line at 1-855-346-5656. Thank you for your inquiry!

A little better than the v1 snow blower
I really like Ego products (mower, blower, trimmer, snowblowers). The power is there and not having to deal with gas is a huge thing for me.
I recently upgraded my snowblower from the rubber-auger Gen1 to the new model with the steel auger. We got 6 inches of snow last night and while it performed well, it was not significantly better than the rubber auger from Gen1. I could not tell the difference to be honest. This is just one snowfall, so I will update as I use it some more.
i don't regret the purchase, but if money is an issue you won't be disappointed with the lower-priced model.

POWER+ PEAK POWER REVIEW
Just got to use it for the 1st time yesterday/today. Worked Great! Very happy!
1. Did my driveway, sidewalk, and cleared street on both sides of driveway.
2. I also did my neighbors on both sides sidewalks.
3. FYI Snow was very heavy yesterday and very heavy slush today I was amazed that is did NOT
clog once
4. All of the above was done on 1 charge and still had GREEN light on power!
Very Satisfied.
5. The only thing that would make this snow blower a 10 on a scale of 1 to 5 is if it was self
propelled.
6. Although it is NOT difficult to push uneven pavement make it a bit of a challenge.

Easy use
Have only owned for one moderate snow storm ( about 6-inches); however unit worked as expected Purchased mainly to allow my wife (71 with eye problems) and a special needs son to utilize if I am unavailable. We were concerned about how much effort it would take to push the blower forward as that could create unacceptable eye pressure. My wife was able to clear about 200 LF of walkways and a vehicle path to road without experiencing any strain. Unit did advance much easier on paved surfaces than on grass surfaces
We also have EGO mower, chainsaw, and leaf blower - happy with each but particularly happy with ability to interchange batteries

Broke on the first day.
I bought the tool, and charged the batteries overnight. It worked fine through the 8" of freshly fallen snow but when I got to the end of the driveway where the plows had passed the auger became overloaded and stopped entirely. I backed it out of the snow and was not able to restart it. I took the batteries out, recharged them, and tried again. Then I brought it inside to make sure that the whole thing was thawed and tried again. I have not been able to start the tool since the first time I turned it on. I called customer service and after an hour on hold I gave up.

Disappointing throwing power but great otherwise
First snowfall and it struggled to throw snow more than about 5 feet even on the highest setting. That said, it was way easier than shoveling and simply required me to adjust my plan (go from the middle to the outside rather than the outside in) in order to clear everything - takes a little longer but not much. The metal auger got right down to the driveway so there was no residual packed snow to slip on. Barely dented the battery clearing a six car driveway and the sidewalk around the house although there was only 4 or 5 inches of snow.

Not bad, not great
First off, it’s infinitely better than shovelling. But there are definitely some drawbacks that make me think we should’ve either went with an upgraded model or stayed with a gas-powered blower. First off, it’s not super easy to maneuver. It isn’t ‘self-propelled’ and, in significant snowpack, requires some strength to push around. Second, it ‘clogs up’ easily, especially in anything but super dry snow. And third, the battery life definitely isn’t as strong as on other EGO products like our mower. We have a small driveway, and we need to charge up every 1-2 clears. Overall, I’m not unhappy with it, but not thrilled with it either.

Too Short
I own all sorts of EGO products such as lawn mowers, trimmer, leaf blowers etc. and I love them. They are absolutely wonderful. So this year I decided to buy EGO snow blower as well; however I had to return is right away since after assembling I realized that snow blower is too short for me and handle doesn't extend. With no adjustable handle, I have to bend to use the device which causes me back pain. Not sure why similar features such as lawn mowers weren't added to this. Not everyone is the same height.

Works great as long as snow is not very wet
Just used this snow blower for the first time. We had about 3 inches of very wet snow last night. On our sidewalks it worked OK but could only throw snow about 5 to 6 feet. On driveway at the back of the house it could not throw the snow far enough so I was not trying to remove the thrown snow from a previous pass on the drive way. The shut kept pulling up and I had to clear it multiple times. If you have dry snow it would work pretty good but with wet heavy snow only fair. I had to get the snow shovel out to finish the job. I have several other EGO products that work very well but I was a little disappointed with the performance of this one in wet snow.
