Love this, bought the riding mower so I have 4 10ah batteries for the generator and with this charge controller and two 100 watt solar panels they keep all my ego batteries charged ready for the next use. One, maybe two days of sun has around 40ah ready to go again. EGO, if you’re reading this, it’d be awesome if the solar generator was pass through and/or could use way more than 180 watts. How about 500 or more watts. Would be amazing!

He was going to use it for the 120v ac for his shed and to charge is Ego batteries for his tools. I had issues with the charger starting the process of charging. Always needed to unplug and plug in the cable going to the solar panel for it to begin charging. I would not start on it's own if sitting over night and when the sun came up the next day. I had the recommended solar panel from Renogy. Even tried another panel and charger. Same result. If you walked in front of the solar panel and cast a shadow on it. The charger would turn off. Some times it would come back on and some times it needed to be reset by unplugging the cable. The other complaint is that you need to unplug the solar charger to use the power station. I understand it doesn't have the pass through capability. But when you want to use the Power Station. I would have expected that you would have the ability to turn off charging if the button for the receptacles was pushed. I bought the same setup for my house at the same time I bought his. Same results. Any Firmware updates?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paul J from Easy to Use Tried this out a a few times last week, easy to connect one end plugs in your power station and the other end to your solar panel. The light will flash green if its working, if the light goes off it means you are not getting enough sun on your solar panel, but the light will turn back on automatically if the sun comes out again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by EGO Tools from Hot Charger Charger does get quite hot when in use. Although I purchased the recommended solar panel of 100W 12h not sure if I got a second panel that the charger could handle it? Would it charge the batteries faster?
