Description
The EGO Nexus power station is a battery-powered alternative to gas generators that delivers clean, quiet, portable power. Safe for both indoor and outdoor uses, it gives you power everywhere you need it, at any time. Features include (3) 120 V A/C outlets and (4) USB ports, robust steel handles for all-around transport and bright LED display to clearly show run time. Would it draw too much power (defeat purpose) to charge extra batteries in their seperate chargers (like charger CH5500) plugged into this power station. If I had 2- 7.5’s in the power station and 2 being charged in the chargers…wouldn’t that work?

How long will a single, fully-charged, 56V 7.5 Ah battery last when using a 1,500 Watt space heater? The same question for a 10 Ah fully-charged battery. Is a Fast Charger available for a 56V 7.5 Ah battery?

Can I combine a 56V 7.5 a with a 56V 5 a battery. We have the lawnmower and would like to get a snowblower but it has different size batteries.

Love it but…
I love that the power station does not need gas and oil so it can operate inside the house. I also love that I can use all the other EGO batteries I have to extend the run time. I don’t love that the max power rating is only 3KW and I don’t love that it cannot be connected to a transfer switch. These two things together mean it can’t run my well pump

A thoughtful design
Our power went out about a week after I bought this Power Station; it was easy and intuitive to use, and I love the updated time of power left display; it helps me decide whether I need to hook up the backup generator. With the batteries installed, it is heavy, but you can carry it to and from the power need without the batteries, and that is a big advantage over power stations with integrated batteries. Being able to use the batteries in my eGo tools is a bonus. This is a thoughtful design.

J'ai acheté 2 génératrices. Tres bonne machine. Maintenant il y a des améliorations à apporter. Le wifi ou Bluetooth. Problématique. Une prise 240 volts serait appréciée. Une génératrice avec 6 ou 8 batteries ou la possibilité de mettre 2 génératrice en parallèle. Lors de l'achat, un kit de 4 batteries 12amh. Quand on achète une génératrice, on veut avoir du courant à long terme.Une dernière, quand il manque de courant, la génératrice devrait tomber immédiatement en mode 120 volts.

Good power station and is sturdy. Only 2 issues : the net works wifi connection does not work ( however blue tooth does). Once I connected to the Apple App , the app shows that my batteries have only 10 a.h capacity but they both have 12 A.h capacity, as if the app was not showing the right capacity or is limited to 10 max. Hpefully it does not give more problem than showing the wrong time of usage .

An Excellent Option for Temporary Power Outages
I purchased this unit basically to run my refrigerator/freeze in case of a power outage. My refrigerator is relatively new and quite efficient. I tested my Nexus Power Station using 4 fully charged 12ah official batteries. My refrigerator ran perfectly for 21 hours and 7 minutes before the batteries were depleted.
I am totally satisfied with these results. The Nexus is simple to operate right out of the box and an excellent addition to the EGO portfolio, especially if you already own EGO products and batteries. I would highly recommend this Nexus Portable Power Station.

Not Sleepy
Couldn’t be happier. We have CPac machines and need them to sleep with. When power goes out in the night, I spend a few minutes unplugging from wall outlet to power station and go back to sleep.
