How would the bristle brush work at clearing snow from a skating rink after shoveling and before flooding? How long would a full battery run in colder temperatures?

Just hit it once with the brush then hose off instead of power washing. I can handle the weight for small jobs, but would be nice to have wheels to create a fulcrum to carry most of the weight. Outrigger wheels like bicycle training wheels attached to the brush shaft so the operator can raise or lower the angle of the shaft to create more or less pressure on the surface to be worked. I'm not knocking the weight - I understand the need for a robust hefty differential to get the job done and last for several years, but would be nice if you could engineer a solution to reduce operator fatigue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Outdoorman from This powers through touch stuff. This attachment is a little heavy, however, to work as hard as it did needs to be not light weight. This brush works great on the snow. I got this mostly to sweep the deck and walk off after shoveling or snow blowing. I had used a push broom but this works way, way better and faster. This last storm had rain, then sleet, then snow, then 10 degrees F. Things froze up good and after shoveling and scraping there was still an inch to 2 inches of frozen crap left. This broom with POWER+ head and 5 AH battery cleaned my deck and walk ways to the 1/8 ice layer which after 2 days the sun melted vs the driveway which is still covered. But it does take some muscle to control and use.

I was an early adopter a few years ago when they debuted their first lawnmower and now I’m deep into their product ecosystem. Still using just one battery for a wall full of equipment (my original 5.0 battery and fast charger that came with my lawn mower). Since then I’ve added a blower, edger and 2 trimmers (short and extended) and now the brush. Going for the backpack next.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Oregon Mike from Good job at moving snow... I got a chance to try my brush attachment for the multi-head system to brush some snow. In short, it works well. Needs wheels. However (fancy but), it is somewhat awkward and heavy to maneuver. Basically the entire weight of the brush sits on the ground. I wished it had wheels to allow some weight removal by tilting the battery end down so the brush end could pivot up a bit and take some of the weight off. Very effective at moving the snow though. I was out there using it while it was actively snowing. The brush would throw the snow forward about 5-6 ft. Once in awhile it would roll up some good sized snow chunks but for the most part it would just spray the snow ahead of it. Of course that means there was a pile of snow at the end of the path of brushing. See pics.

Following the instructions to keep the tool at a low angle is a big help. Also remember that unlike a shovel or push broom this power brush works well and still shoots the snow forward when you are pulling the brush backward. Was expecting the snow to shoot a little farther but the brush still did a nice job clearing away the snow. This will be my go to for those snow falls that are too much for a leaf blower but not enough for the snow blower.

However, for extended use, a wheel kit similar to the one Stihl offers for theirs would relieve a heavy burden on one's arms and shoulders. I understand from another post that the Stihl wheel kit would work, but would be really nive to have an EGO branded kit. This was primarily bought to complement my EGO Snow blower even though there sre many other potential uses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dolione from Awesome Cleaning on Light Snow After one season with the EGO snow blower, I have decided to add to my "snow removal" tool collection with this new Bristle Brush attachment. Similarly to other reviewers, I purchased this tool for when the snow is light & fluffy, with less than 1/2" of accumulation. Per the photos attached, I had light snow flurry with some accumulation on my driveway. Rather than pulling out the "hand shovel" or the "snow blower," I decided to put this new attachment to the test. With the 1st pass, the attachment did a great job removing the snow and throwing it forward away from the driveway. Near my garage door, I had a thin layer of ice underneath the snow, so it could not remove the icy part. After clearing the icy snow with a hand shovel, I came back with the attachment to clean the rest of the loose snow and ice - and as you can see in the last photo, it did a great job! Overall, the attachment was heavier than I thought. I had to lean the Power Head against the side of my body to alleviate any muscle fatigue in both arms. Given the amount of snow I had, this was good for the job. If there were more snow accumulation on the driveway, I might use the "leaf blower" instead to make quick work of the job. Outside of snow removal, I will put this to the test come Spring & Summer when I have to clear out the sidewalk from grass cutting & edging. I would definitely recommend adding this tool to your "snow removal" arsenal.

This thing can power through pretty much anything, I've used it to scrub my driveway, touch up / clean up lawn edging work and to clean frozen / stuck on leaves off my walkways/sidewalks. It's a little heavy, but when you get the balance down, this thing is a BEAST! Very satisfied.
