What are the dimensions when handle is folded? Eg what footprints is needed to store
Hi, GeorgeB1! Great question. The dimensions of the SNT2112 with the handle bars folded up is 37 inches (Length) x 23 inches (Width) x 28.5 inches (Height). Please contact the EGO team for further assistance: 1-855-346-5656. Thank you for your question.

Can this snowblower be stored outside duirng the winter inbetween uses (batteries will be stored inside)?
Hi Brian, good question! We would recommend storing your batteries inside in temperatures between 50 - 80 degree Fahrenheit. For the tool, it is best practice to store it indoors in a warm, dry place away from moisture. Thank you for your question!

Model SNT2112- If I purchase the bare tool only, can I use 1x 7.5 AH battery and 1x2.5AH battery to power this unit? Will this hinder the tool’s performance?
Hi there, MVal! Good question. All EGO batteries are compatible with all EGO products. The only difference you will experience is the run time. The 2.5 Amp battery will deplete faster than the 7.5 Amp battery. Please contact the EGO team for further assistance: 1-855-346-5656. Thank you for your inquiry.

Does the steel auger make contact with the ground? I have interlock pavers done, worried that the steel auger will scratch/damage the pavers.
Hello,
The steel auger is not low enough to make contact with the ground during snow blowing on a flat surface. Thank you for your inquiry!

Hi Ego Tools, What is the runtime of 5AH and 7.5AH batteries? You've mentioned that 4AH has a runtime of 26 min elsewhere on the site. Thanks, Mike
Hi Mikein, good question. The run time with two 5.0Ah batteries is up to 36 minutes. The run time with two 7.5Ah batteries is up to 54 minutes. Thank you for your question.

Will a power drive model for this size unit be forthcoming? (I sold my EGO mower and purchased an EGO power drive - and am pleased with it. Do to being older and needing to deal with inclines, this would be a great option of this unit.
Hi Old John, there are no current plans to do so but we will pass that suggestion along! Thank you for your question.

A little better than the v1 snow blower
I really like Ego products (mower, blower, trimmer, snowblowers). The power is there and not having to deal with gas is a huge thing for me.
I recently upgraded my snowblower from the rubber-auger Gen1 to the new model with the steel auger. We got 6 inches of snow last night and while it performed well, it was not significantly better than the rubber auger from Gen1. I could not tell the difference to be honest. This is just one snowfall, so I will update as I use it some more.
i don't regret the purchase, but if money is an issue you won't be disappointed with the lower-priced model.

Awesome Snow Blower
This Snowblower has performed great so far this year. My previous snowblower was a Toro gas powered model, that was good, but it was a pain starting and performing maintenance (gas model). We recently had a 6 inch snow and he new Ego snowblower not only did a better job clearing the snow (further throw, wider clear path) but was also much quieter and easy to start (of course as it is electric). I also like how compact this model is as it folds up and takes up a very small footprint in my garage. I was tempted to get the larger 2 stage blower, but after using this single stage model, I am totally happy and satisfied with its performance!

POWER+ PEAK POWER REVIEW
Just got to use it for the 1st time yesterday/today. Worked Great! Very happy!
1. Did my driveway, sidewalk, and cleared street on both sides of driveway.
2. I also did my neighbors on both sides sidewalks.
3. FYI Snow was very heavy yesterday and very heavy slush today I was amazed that is did NOT
clog once
4. All of the above was done on 1 charge and still had GREEN light on power!
Very Satisfied.
5. The only thing that would make this snow blower a 10 on a scale of 1 to 5 is if it was self
propelled.
6. Although it is NOT difficult to push uneven pavement make it a bit of a challenge.

Easy use
Have only owned for one moderate snow storm ( about 6-inches); however unit worked as expected Purchased mainly to allow my wife (71 with eye problems) and a special needs son to utilize if I am unavailable. We were concerned about how much effort it would take to push the blower forward as that could create unacceptable eye pressure. My wife was able to clear about 200 LF of walkways and a vehicle path to road without experiencing any strain. Unit did advance much easier on paved surfaces than on grass surfaces
We also have EGO mower, chainsaw, and leaf blower - happy with each but particularly happy with ability to interchange batteries

I'm Impressed
I was on the fence for awhile because of the high price. Finally pulled the plug due to winter storm Izzy.
Took it out when the snow was about 6". It cleared the drive way fast and effortless. Initial opinion is I'm very impressed.
To give some context, I have a 2-stage gas powered Craftsman, and a dual power 40V-battery/AC Snow Joe. Generally, I'm reluctant to go through the hassle of taking out the gas Craftsman unless it's a blizzard with a feet or more of snow. The Snow Joe is okay for 6" or less, but I'm not very happy with its performance.
This new version EGO blower is powerful. I'm guessing EGO uses a 100V motor and powered it by combining two batteries and calls it Peak Power. It's actually much stronger than my Snow Joe on AC. I'll see how this will hold up long term.

Broke on the first day.
I bought the tool, and charged the batteries overnight. It worked fine through the 8" of freshly fallen snow but when I got to the end of the driveway where the plows had passed the auger became overloaded and stopped entirely. I backed it out of the snow and was not able to restart it. I took the batteries out, recharged them, and tried again. Then I brought it inside to make sure that the whole thing was thawed and tried again. I have not been able to start the tool since the first time I turned it on. I called customer service and after an hour on hold I gave up.

Disappointing throwing power but great otherwise
First snowfall and it struggled to throw snow more than about 5 feet even on the highest setting. That said, it was way easier than shoveling and simply required me to adjust my plan (go from the middle to the outside rather than the outside in) in order to clear everything - takes a little longer but not much. The metal auger got right down to the driveway so there was no residual packed snow to slip on. Barely dented the battery clearing a six car driveway and the sidewalk around the house although there was only 4 or 5 inches of snow.

Always check the throttle control
I was super excited as I took this snowblower out to my truck. I live in Anchorage Alaska and we get quite a bit of snow. I have had a snow removal business for quite a while and I have always only used snow blowers. So when I bought this little fella I figured it would be great for small snow storms. I took it home assembled it (which by the way was very easy to do). Took it out in the driveway hit the trigger and it sucked (at first). I figured I would try it again the next day. As I was taking it out of my garage I saw the throttle control. I turned it all the way up and I’ll be danged if it wasn’t like a whole new machine. It threw the snow quite a distance and got all the way down to almost dry concrete again. This is truly an amazing little machine. The lesson here? Always read the instructions.
