Description
The new EGO POWER+ snow blower delivers the power and performance of gas without the noise, fuss and fumes. Featuring Peak Power(TM) technology, it combines the power of any two EGO 56V ARC Lithium(TM) batteries for the power to clear heavy, wet snow with a throwing distance up to 40-ft. Built with a high-efficiency brushless motor and steel auger.

Can this snowblower be stored outside duirng the winter inbetween uses (batteries will be stored inside)?
Hi Brian, good question! We would recommend storing your batteries inside in temperatures between 50 - 80 degree Fahrenheit. For the tool, it is best practice to store it indoors in a warm, dry place away from moisture. Thank you for your question!

Model SNT2112- If I purchase the bare tool only, can I use 1x 7.5 AH battery and 1x2.5AH battery to power this unit? Will this hinder the tool’s performance?

Does the steel auger make contact with the ground? I have interlock pavers done, worried that the steel auger will scratch/damage the pavers.

Will a power drive model for this size unit be forthcoming? (I sold my EGO mower and purchased an EGO power drive - and am pleased with it. Do to being older and needing to deal with inclines, this would be a great option of this unit.

Better than a gas snowblower!
Brilliant product. Cleared my 4 car driveway plus side path twice with 20% battery life left. Batteries recharged in less than 90 mins. Very maneuverable and easy to use.

Thoughts While Moving Snow
The snow where I live, west-central Wyoming, is probably drier than snow in most of the country. That said, the first snowfall of the season was a record seventeen inches. This snowblower handled it well. After muscling the initial "trail" through the snow, I was able to make subsequent passes at about two-thirds the capacity of the machine's width. The machine threw the snow an adequate distance regardless of the direction of the discharge chute. Heavier, wetter snow might require the 7.5 amp batteries, but the 5.0 amp batteries on this model were sufficient for the snow I had.
I love how much quieter this machine is than my old, two-cycle circa 1992 snowblower is.

So far, so good
I've had the snowblower for one full season so far; it's been a very surprising lack of snow here in the Chicago area since fall 2022. So far, we haven't had a really good snowstorm to test it out on - just a couple inches of (basically) slush here or there. The chute clogs up very easily with the slush, leading to the auger just throwing it right back out, but that's not Ego's fault. It would be the same with any blower. Ergonomics are generally good; it's light, maneuverable, and most importantly - quiet and easy to start! No more screwing around with gas. Battery life is good so far; I have about a 1500 square foot area of driveway and sidewalk to clear, and having had no real good snows like I mentioned, the batteries have barely broken a sweat, only using 1 or 2 bars (20 - 40%) most times.
My one gripe is that Ego chose to forgo an adjustable-height handle. I'm 6'2" and find myself having to bend down slightly to get a good grip on the blower, which is disappointing. Other than that, pretty happy. I expect many years of service from it.

Poor choice in a snow blower
I am so very disappointed that I purchased this Ego snow blower. It is extremely underpowered and doesn’t come close to throwing snow as advertised. It is also difficult to push and the chute clogs frequently. I wish I could get my money back!!!

I haven’t used it yet, but I know it’s gonna be an awesome snowblower. I have the two stage and I bought the single stage for lighter snow so far I had the lawnmower, the blower, two stage and single stage just waiting for them to come out with a 30 inch riding mower and I’ll be complete.
