I want to know how this mower performs on an uneven surface on a slope. I live on a hill and the yard slopes down. It is in shade with lots of moss, it rains a lot so lots of moisture. Can this mower handle an imperfect yard.

Easy to use
I have found this lawn mower to be very easy to use. We live on a hill and the larger back wheels and light chassis make mowing no problem. I find no difference in power between this mower and our last gas powered mower, which was a pleasant surprise. I love that I don't have to worry about pulling a cord to start the mower. The winding shape of our yard makes working with a cord out of the question - cordless is definitely the way to go and the battery lasts plenty long enough to do the whole yard without any problem.
I do wish that the fan wasn't as loud. I had hoped for a quieter experience, but it is still better than a gas powered engine.

Outstanding
Wasn't sure this mower will be up to the task of cutting 12000+ square feet and still have charge. This mower did that and more. I mulch and its mulching performance is excellent. Did not need to use the clippings bag once, it is still new. I have more than 20% in the battery after mowing. The battery charges in about 30 minutes. Really impressed with the mower. I am now looking into adding more tools from EGO, like a trimmer and a blower. I used the mower twice so far, so this is a very early impression, but I have to admit the mower exceeded my expectations. The model I have is the steel deck one and the battery is the 7.5 amps. Very nice.

Great Investment
I thought long & hard about spending this much on a battery powered lawnmower. It was the best move I could have made. The machine is quiet, yet powerful. I am impressed with the mulching capability and the cut is great. I am considering purchasing a second blade so that I always have a sharp one on hand. The battery lasts for the entire cut. I mowed the neighbors yard as well and when the battery was dry I put it on charge while I went in the house for a cool beverage. Within 20 minutes it was sufficiently charged to finish her lawn. I replaced a corded electric mower and do not miss dragging a cord around at all.

No compromise!
I've been using battery electric lawnmowers since 2006 and have had to learn to deal with compromises - until today! I just used the Ego Power+ mower to take one quarter acre of 6" tall St. Augustine (nature's Kevlar) down to 3.5" without faltering. Just as I reached the end of the job the battery light turned red but the motor did not slow down at all during the entire mow - the torque is amazing! Now all I have to do is recharge the battery and attack the other quarter-acre - but, although the battery recharges in less than 30 minutes, I do not: The remainder of the lawn can wait for another, less hot and humid, day!

EGO Mower After One Season
I purchased my EGO Lawn Mower after closing on my new home in early August. I have a 1/4+ acre lot with a healthy grass lawn. The first mowing was a challenge because the grass had not been cut for more than a week. The mower did a superb job. The battery light turned red after about 85-90% had been cut. I broke for lunch and by the time I was finished the battery was recharged and ready for more work. Since then I have been able to complete the lawn without recharging. I am very pleased with the mower for its performance, its limited weight, for the fact that it folds up and takes up almost no space in the corner of my garage and I don't have to mess with gasoline storage, mixing or refueling.

Poor Clipping bagging / mulching ability
I bough this a few months back and it seemed convenient. While this holds true, this mowers underside somehow performs extremely poorly with its ability to send clippings to anywhere besides the bottom of the deck (between the blade and the underside of the mower) this seems to be because the blade is so narrow and simply does not have the power the blow the clippings off. This is even with dry grass. While the mower is almost "good enough" to cut grass, you have to stop every 5 minutes or so to scrape the clippings off the bottom of the mower because it quickly clogs and begins bogging down and no longer cuts grass evenly.

No vacuum for mulching
There were no photos of the blade area and I guess that it's my own fault for not checking. There is no "lift" space to facilitate the suction needed to truly utilize the mulching feature. Leaves, trampled grass, all that just laid there and only the most robust growth was cut. Almost the entire space under the deck is taken up with a huge something or other leaving a very thin donut ring on the outside. I really don't see this mower standing up to wet or even damp grass. We are almost always at least damp up here in the mountains. If it can't lift small leaves and blades of grass to reach the blade I think I best return the mower and consider going back to a gas mower. It's a shame.

Used it all summer
Bought the mower this spring and was impressed right of the box.All the good reviews have been true for me. We have a huge yard that almost takes an hour to mow and the battery always lasts. It's at the end but finishes. Now that its fall I was interested to see how it handled bagging leaves and it was just as good as my gas mower. See pictures. Recommend buying the mower first because it has the bigger battery. Then when you add other tools, you will, I did. You now have the big battery in your arsenal. Also have the blower and chainsaw and love them all.
