This cordless EGO POWER+ 2-stage snow blower delivers the power and performance of gas without the noise, fuss and fumes. Peak Power(TM) technology combines the power of any two EGO 56V ARC Lithium(TM) batteries to tackle the toughest snow conditions and what the snowplow leaves behind with ease. Get the job done quickly with the 24-inch clearing width and 20-inch intake height to handle even the deepest snow. 4 LED lights make it easy for use in early morning or evening. Variable speed auger and 200-degree chute direction give you complete control to throw snow where you need it, up to 50 feet. Features a rugged construction and a high-efficiency brushless motor. Do the blowers now come with the chute problem fixed or do I have to request a chute fix kit?
Hi dmacin, please check page 22 in your owner's manual for the section titled "Loose/Tighten The Snow-Discharge Chute." If your SNT2400 contains these tensioning cables, you will be able to tighten the tension on your chute. If your unit does not have these cables, please reach out to EGO customer service at 1-855-346-5656 to request a chute upgrade kit!

Fantastic performance
This is my 3rd EGO product and like the lawn mower and blower its performance is fantastic! We've had 4 storms this year, and my reluctant attitude towards this machine was blown away. In WI we haven't been seeing as much snow as I would like, but every time a storm pops up on the radar I get excited. The first storm had 5 inches of the wettest heaviest snow you can imagine. No problem for this snow blower. I was actually shocked as my old gas blower didn't have the power to get through the plow drift at the end of the driveway. If you're hesitant or have doubts, forget about them. This snow blower is awesome. Till the next storm!

Mostly excellent snow blower
I give the snowblower just 4 stars while all 3 of my other EGO tools got 5 stars because you have to stop to change direction of the eject tube. You should be able to take the hand off the lever that runs the snow thrower and as long as the power to the wheels is maintained, have it continue - it did so in all my previous snow blowers. I have a lot of turns to do so this slows me down significantly. Otherwise, it is like EGO's other products, very well designed and solidly built. I haven't had deep snow since getting it but it's done well at high speed with 3 - 4" deep snow so presume with a slower speed would have no trouble with greater depth.

Not enough power?
Powered this up this morning for the first time, after the snowstorm overnight. Got 30-35 minutes of working time on fully charged batteries (2 fully charged batteries took 2.5 hours), and cannot get blower thru accumulated snow at all because either tires lose traction or auger has difficult time cutting thru snow (can't figure out which because it just stalls). I have to shovel the snow first to a certain level before the machine can do its thing. I have the same issue with the chute (not staying in desired direction), but to me that's not a deal breaker. The lack of power and short working time are the disappointing part of this blower.

Incredibly well made
I must say that this product is the best expenditure I have made this year. I finally rid myself of an older Toro blower that had an electric starter, self-propelled and capable of blowing quite stack of snow. I had my first opportunity to use my Ego today and it was glorious. Easy to start, long battery life, and a pleasure all in all. Every part seems to put together so well, batteries click in place, recharge efficiently and can remain in the charger for up to one month so these are always ready for the snow. Very impressed with this product, and as well with responsive support on questions. Is it crazy to say, snow blowing has now become FUN!A

Outstanding performance and service!
Amazing performance! Handles heavy deep compacted snow easily. Throws snow a mile on Turbo, and even on Eco it throws snow well out of the way. Easy to adjust throwing direction and angle; the direction drifts quite a bit as you use it, but on my replacement machine (see below) Ego seems to have corrected the drifting (haven't used it yet so I
can't confirm. Long lasting charge. Nice speed selection.
On one charge, cleared 4" snow from 400' driveway, including street plow pile.
After several times using it, I did have a problem with it not starting. Ego was very helpful but were not able to determine the problem, so after a week or so they replaced the entire kit!

14" Snowfall
We gave it a real test with a 14" snowfall and our driveway is 5,000 square feet in the mountains of AZ. Admittedly, there was a learning curve. I was amazed at the amount of snow that was coming out of the chute. But, I had a battery overheat fairly quickly. I started taking a half swath, which is still a lot of snow! The machine was easy to operate and it would throw it a long way. The self propelled feature was a must for me, I could not have done it otherwise. Battery life was my main issue with this heavy snow. It would not have been as much of an issue with a normal 4-6" snow. I think I will get another pair of batteries before the next winter to be prepared.

It's great with a minor flaw.
Had 10 inches of Snow covered by 3 inches of ice. Snow blower handled it flawlessly. Neighbors with gas powered snow blowers were amazed at the ease at which it cleared my driveway, my neighbors and the front of our street after the plow had plowed us in. Only ding I would give it is the charger. It should be a high capacity quick charger and not that dual charger. It should be included with this machine and not an option! That dual charger is a wimp. Fortunately for me I have many EGO products and several quick chargers. If you buy this, be prepared to either wait a long time for a recharge (120 Minutes) with the wimp charger or get yourself a 2nd set of batteries.

Ego 2 stage snow thrower
I ordered this battery powered snow thrower because I wanted to get away from a gas operated blower. The headache of off season storage ,oil changes and fuel going bad were major reasons for going electric. I have only had one snow fall to try it out. It blew the snow 12-15 feet which wasn't to bad considering it was wet snow. By the end of blowing the snow it was turning to slush and the machine had issues with the slush plugging the chute. I had to use the chute shovel to clear it twice. It was approximately 3 inches of slush in the driveway. I know it will do great with powdery snow. I love how light the machine is for maneuvering. Controls are easy to use.
