If your not using this as a shelf you will be fine
So I saw this shelf in the store and it was about 5 feet off the floor on a shelf. It looked ok from a far but its far from good.
I had to add metal brackets across the center shelf which is used to hold this thing together. Then I had to bracket it to the wall to make it not wiggle. Now I actually feel comfortable putting something like a toilet paper roll per shelf on it.
Joking aside this thing is horrible. Please look for a shelf that has some sort of bracket holding it together in the center. Also plan to have at least 4 people to help hold this thing for assembly. As you get one side set the other falls apart. Its really dumb.

Sturdy and versatile
When these are banged together they are quite sturdy. They are versatile in that the 2nd 4th and 5th shelves can easily be moved to a new position even after it is assembled. The 3rd is part of the structure and must be half way up the posts. I don't agree that they are easy to assemble. Keeping 2 posts lined up while hammering in the 3rd set of cross braces is a bear. I used a couple of clamps and a few bad words to get the job done. I like the sign inside the box, don't take this back to the store, call our assembly experts for help. But you have a very solid shelf once you get it done.

good sturdy shelf
I purchased this shelf after I read through the 1 star reviews. I did have misgivings about the quality of the shelf, but it has met my requirements perfectly. it is simple to assemble. I put it together in about 15 minutes with no help. If your shelves collapse, like some of the reviews said, try seating your shelves with a mallet. When assembled correctly, the shelf is very stable. The wire shelving is also of good quality. No sagging at all. I took 1 star because there are little feet that are supposed to come along with the shelf to protect the flooring. These were not included. This however, is not a problem as the shelf is fully functional without them. I can recommend this shelf.

Nice garage shelving
I bought two of these. Each box had all the needed parts. Construction was fairly simple. It is important to use a mallet to tighten the individual attachment points as you go through the assembly process. I like the wire shelves much better than the pressboard versions. No dampness problems with these shelves. I had no problems with wobbliness that some other reviewers mentioned. These aren't industrial strength shelves, but they are good for the garage and cost is much less. I should mention that I assembled them by myself in less than an hour for each unit. All shelving is weight rated based on uniform loading. That's never the case in real life. Don't expect to put 1000 pounds on any of these shelves.

Good storage shelving
I purchase this unit because I only had 3 feet of shelf space next to other 4 foot shelving. It's strong and I like the wire shelving. Very adjustable and solid. Glad I bought it.

This was easy to assemble and far sturdier than I expected. I was concerned given the lack of diagonal supports; but this unit is rock solid.

Excellent storage option
Very pleased with the steel posts and shelves, and very easy to assemble. Using a rubber mallet, was able tonset it yp in minutes. The interlocking design is solid. Our garage already looks so much neater..will be buying more

Good heavy duty shelf
It is loaded with boxes of literature and it is very capable of holding it. Good overall heavy duty unit for the money.
