Are these shelves gangable? I'm assuming they are and we just bought two, hoping they can actually extend to about 18 feet total? Anybody know for sure?
totally gangable, but they don't sell the selves themselves separately so you need to buy a lot and then you have a lot of end pieces leftover

Can you attach wheels to the bottom of the shelving unit, if yes, what size?
Hi
Thank you for your question. Wheels castors cannot be attached to this unit given the weight.

What is the distance (1) Between the insides of the end supports, and (2) Between top of a deck and the bottom of the next deck support when assembled with three maximum spaces between shelves (i.e. the top shelf is as high as possible)?

Better than I expected
The previous owners put a bunch of wall mounted closet organizer shelves in the garage taking up allot the wall space. Could not put any substantial on them without them falling It appears it has happened to them before based on the number of holes in the wall where they were previously mounted. Anyway, I bought 2 of these units and my garage looks wonderful and I have no fear or concern of any thing falling or causing more damage. I put them together myself. My only gripe is the bar stabilizers come with flat head screws instead of Phillips head. . I'm plan on buying one moire unit but will get different screws that will significantly cut my assembly time.dramatically.

Solid
Love these. Bought 2 Units and (3) 6ft Counter tops. Took 4th shelf off the 2 units and created an additional shelf. Slight trim on the countertops and made a solid work Bench/Shelving unit. Recommend adding peg board to the back side. Would have done it already, but local store was out of stock.

Not good
Bought a different one a few weeks ago that came with flaws so I hoped this would be better. Much more time consuming to put together, 2 hours vs 20 minutes on the one I bought online. Screws don’t fit well. Instructions on slats in between are non existent, and the long end to end connecting pieces keep popping out while trying to insert slats. I read a review saying the slats were not needed, and I guess if your housing TP they aren’t but just about anything else and expect the flimsy grid that doesn’t fit well to fall thru. Not a happy customer.

Bent leg
Brought 3 of these all was great until the last one was opened and one of the upright end pieces was bent but all ended well scraped it put two shelves together wife used bent end piece to let a vine grow up it or something. Anyway shelves are great very easy to put together very sturdy would recommend but check box before you except.

Decent Shelves
These are fairly decent overall. The flathead screws do suck, and I don't care for them only being on the lower part of the support beams. The beams themselves are fairly flimsy, and the uprights are only slightly heavier. The wire mesh is decent, and easier then using boards. That being said I have a ton of heavy items stacked on mine and so far they are holding up. If your looking for something a bit better built, give the Menards ones a try - the tan models that you build a kit yourself with. They at least used to be far heavier then these ones. If anyone from Edsal is listening, why not make slotted cross members where the supports would just pop in similar to the end rails. It would save you on the hardware costs and us on time and frustration with your flathead bolts that must have been overstock from the 1950s.

Exactly what I needed
Very easy to put together. The two complaints I saw in other reviews I found very little problem with either one.
One complaint was they were hard to anchor to the floor. All I did was to assemble them, mark the floor anchor holes, hammer drill the needed hole, put in the anchor, place the shelf back in place. Screw in bolt. Easy to do.
Second complaint was the cross bars were hard to install. they were a little tricky, but not hard to do. need a 10mm wrench and a small/stubby flat head screwdriver. Remember the cross supports do NOT need to be torqued down, they are just giving support to the shelf and aren't going anywhere.
.
I found them more then strong enough for my home use. Love the amount of Plastic Storage bins they can hold. I have 4 and am very satisfied.
