Description
Accommodate changing storage needs with the Edsal 4-tier steel shelving unit. This industrial shelving unit measures 72 in H x 77 in W x 24 in D. Constructed of reinforced industrial-strength steel, the black shelving unit assembles quickly. It features a modular, bolt-free shelf design. Middle tie bars welded into the unit deliver added stability to this unit.
- Features industrial welded steel frames and beams for maximum strength
- Four 72-in wide wire shelves adjust in 3-in increments to accommodate changing storage needs
- Industrial powder-coated black textured finish for lasting durability
- Units feature dual slotted end frames that can be used to connect one or more units to create a customized storage system

Are these shelves gangable? I'm assuming they are and we just bought two, hoping they can actually extend to about 18 feet total? Anybody know for sure?
totally gangable, but they don't sell the selves themselves separately so you need to buy a lot and then you have a lot of end pieces leftover

Can you attach wheels to the bottom of the shelving unit, if yes, what size?

What is the inter-shelf height if all shelves are evenly spaced at their maximum distance apart?
What is the distance (1) Between the insides of the end supports, and (2) Between top of a deck and the bottom of the next deck support when assembled with three maximum spaces between shelves (i.e. the top shelf is as high as possible)?
Is it possible to assemble these without the bottom shelf, I need something to go over a desk. First shelf would be at 31''. Would it be sturdy enough?

As they say, you get what you pay for.
I've had one of these racks in my garage for two years and it has held up wonderfully for light duty storage. It recently survived a move and went back together in perfect condition. Now I have the room to buy two more, which is what brought me back to this page.

Assembly can be a challenge - have a mallet
Nice and sturdy. Exactly what I expected and wanted. Some of the shelves had to be angled and hammered to go in, but everything came together after a bit of trying.

4 tier shelf unit
I bought 2 of these shelf units on 11/2/22. I've only put one together so far. It was straightforward, didn't really need directions. No real need for a rubber mallet, but it would help for some. I was able to get it together myself in about 30 minutes. For the price, I would think these would be a little more heavy duty. There were scratches in the paint throughout the pieces, but that's from poor handling at the store. The finished product feels sturdy enough, adequate for what I need.
