I’m blown away! The luxury of keeping our home a certain temperature no matter where we are in the world! Absolutely awesome! This thermostat works flawlessly & is super easy to setup & begin using! If you too are in the smart home market… be sure to give Ecobee a go for the price and quality you honestly cannot best this thermostat!

The thermostat was quite easy to install. It came with everything needed for installation. It is super easy to use aswell. You can control the thermostat manually, through the app, apple watch or by logging on their website. The app is also super easy to understand and use. I really loved the thermostat. I loved the learning feature of the thermostat. I am looking forward to all the electricity savings. Special mention to the wonderful packaging of the product.

The unit itself feels well made. My husband is a maintenance tech so we didn’t need this installed by a professional. The app really walks you through step by step. We had a bit of a struggle installing the power adapter at the furnace but that was just because you have to crawl on the floor to get to the wiring. I was really nervous I was going to have to touch up the paint but the back bracket covered it all perfectly! We’ve used it for a couple days now and it’s very user friendly in the app. Definitely would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unboxing the Ecobee, I immediately noticed their commitment to caring for the environment in the packaging choices and materials. The install instructions in the app were user-friendly enough for us to be able to install this without professional help in about 30 minutes. If your wires are not color coded or if you're colorblind, they include stickers to label the wires so you don't make a mistake. We opted to mount to the wall without the optional back plate after patching the previous nail holes. I love the app and all the features and it looks so sleek on the wall. I can't wait to start seeing energy savings!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The day I recieved my ecobee I just happen to have my AC guy servicing our unit. I asked what he though about ecobee and he said they were great! He's been installing them a lot more recently. I've been using it for about a week or so and I love that I can change the temperature of my home from my phone, regardless of where I am. When my mom gets cold and I'm at work, I can increase the temperature so that she is comfortable. I can check the weather, set schedules so that the temperature changes at certain times of day, set it to when I'm home or away to increase power savings, so many benefits. I'm am so happy with my ecobee!

It’s easy to self install, it took just over 45 minutes. I love it’s chic, easy to read display. It includes a sensor to help alleviate hot and cold spots. Your device also acts as a home security system, can detect and execute voice commands through either Siri or Alexa, and serves as an indoor air quality detector. From energy conservation to air quality control, the Ecobee Smart Thermostat Enhanced is the crème de la crème of smart thermostats. I would recommend this to everyone and their mother!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Geoff T. from Like it even better than our first Ecobee I installed an Ecobee by myself years ago in our primary home with no problems. Our second home has two heat pump HVAC units. I bought two Ecobees through our electric company. Didn't have C wire at old thermostat and called tech support. First tech wasn't able to help and transferred me to a higher level tech who was able to walk me through the install. I installed the second Ecobee without any assistance using the knowledge I gained from the second tech. I did't have to paint around the Ecobee because they came with an extra backplate large enough to cover the area where the old thermostat was.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although the screen is very nice with a large footprint, the Ecobee comes up quite short when compared to the Nest as far as basic features. The interface is not terribly intuitive and the base model lacks all of the smart features of even the most basic Nest. Settng up schedules is also a bit of a drag but without the extra sensors that come with the next tier of Ecobee, it's definitely necessary. It is, for all intents and purposes, just a thermostat with a touchscreen. I will definitely be reinstalling our Nest. Long story short: aside from the nice large screen, there is nothing to really recommend the Ecobee over the Nest.
