Straightforward... Not svrewy
You can set the Ecobee to do just what you want and you can control it remotely. Most of the other thermostats keep messing with the temperature in your house. With Ecobee you can make a schedule and it follows it.
Other "smart" thermostats are like that annoying housemate who always messes with the temperature. It's infuriating really. If you spend a lot of time at home I suggest the Ecobee, it does what you tell it to do.

Great Thermostat
I had an ecobee 4 thermostat for four years and loved it. Simple to setup, use, and informative. Love the room sensors. I've upgraded to the ecobee premium due to the air quality sensor and really like that feature.

Save you money
I've had this for 6 months. The air quality sensor doesn't work at all. If you open the windows, it goes straight to "poor" air quality. Also, if you have Eco+ enabled, it bafflingly turns on the heat in the middle of the day although no one's at home and the schedule is set to not turn on for another 6-7 hours. I can't explain how this can help me save electricity?!? Please avoid, waste of money. I want a refund from Ecobee but they refused after 30 days and are very strict with this. Of course they need to be since their products do not work well and have deceptive advertising. I wish someone from ecobee would reach out. They ignored my request to return this product.

Great thermostat
I really like the ecobee thermostat. I have multiple zones in the house. Very easy to manage the climate inside. Very visible screen and the comfort control settings are terrific. Also being able to manage the home temperatures remotely is great.
