Description

Enhance your interior's aesthetics using grey Mallorca Taiga vinyl flooring. Manufactured from tough stone plastic composite (SPC) components, it's durable. It has a rigid core that maintains structural integrity even in locations with high traffic. This commercial vinyl tile comes with a tough top layer that's scratch and stain-resistant. With an embossed wood-like finish, it complements your interior decor with rustic accents. Its Drop Lock click system and attached underlayment padding allow for fast and easy installation. This waterproof SPC vinyl tile prevents the growth of mould for effective use in wet locations such as laundry rooms. Free from volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and phthalates, this 6 in W x 48 in L plank set is safe for residential and commercial use. Each box covers 19.7 sq. ft. of floor space. This product comes backed by 20-year residential and 3-year light commercial warranties.

I am planning on installing this floor in our 4 seasons shed, completely insulated, drywalled, etc... It will have to fight cold and heat as a normal space. Do I need to use any type of adhesive to prevent this from popping-up?

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Buyer Beware! Buyer Beware! Only purchase these tiles if you are installing them on perfectly level CONCRETE sub flooring. They would be good for condos, but don’t invest if you have wooden sub flooring. Taiga claims these tiles have a lifetime residential warranty, but I’ve just been told that they are not taking any action or responsibility for the mess that these tiles have become. The reason they have given is that the wooden subfloor flexing has caused the tiles to pop and split, and that it has nothing to do with the product itself. I’m not sure why the flooring in the rest of the house hasn’t popped and split in the same way seeing as it is installed on the same subfloor, but the company refused to address that question. They merely stopped responding to me. I was excited to have these tiles installed in my main foyer and kitchen. Sharing my home with many animals, waterproof floors are crucial for the frequent washing needed. I have not been able to properly wash the floors for over a year, I can only spot clean and keep them covered with mats. This will have to continue until I can come up with the money to have them ripped out and replaced with a different tile.

Je ne recommande pas, malgré la belle finition et couleur que sa donnait!

We loved it so much that we repurposed enough to do are living room,entrance,hallway and bathroom. It looks great so far! We are still working on our project but so far couldn’t be happier plus we got it on sale so really it was a win win!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Butterwhi from Don't buy it! We bought this flooring when it went on sale. At the time the reviews were not very favourable but we thought it was worth trying. Wish we would have listened to the reviews. This flooring is very delicate to work with. We inspected all the boxes we picked up to make sure none of them had any damage. Right out of the boxes some pieces have chunks missing halfway down the boards, some pieces have damaged corners. Very hard to lift pieces once they're set in without damaging the short end. Looks nice when it's all done, but I would never buy this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Boathouse Living from Looks Great Excellent results, but you must start with a straight line right at the beginning against the wall. The joining grooves and locking tabs are not forgiving. If it’s not straight to start with you’ll see gaps and the planks will not sit or connect properly. If there is any japs between the joints pull the vinyl board back up, reset and push the plank in until you see no joints and then use a rubber hammer to gently secure. It takes just a little extra effort but the results are excellent.

It’s now being carried throughout the whole house. Love how easy and fast this flooring is to put together. It’s unfortunate that Rona doesn’t carry the transition pieces from the Easy Street lines. That would complete the whole house if I could find a perfectly matching transition …
