Great suction, do not care for wand/attachments
The vacuum itself is lightweight, easily maneuvered, and has extremely powerful suction. You can actually feel it gripping the floor. Easily transitions between carpet and bare floor and maintains suction. The downside for me is the wand/attachment. Unless you use the wand at a great distance (several feet) it is basically useless as the wand is not flexible, but a solid plastic. There is bend at the connection of the hose and wand but it is very awkward and you cannot get the correct angle for anything close range. I wanted to LOVE my Dyson, but since I will now have to keep my old machine for the attachments, it's somewhat disappointing.

May be the worst vacuum cleaner I've ever owned.
In all fairness, it's pretty good on regular carpeting but it's useless when trying to use the extension hose to do stairs or anything like that. The hose isn't flexible enough. When trying to use the extension hose it pulls on the machine and it usually falls over. It has zero stability. Also, for some reason the hose, when trying to extend it while the machine is on, gets pulled back into the machine making it almost impossible to use and, forget trying to use it to vacuum out the cars. The last time it tried using it for that it fell over and scratched the paint. We're stuck with this thing for now but I will not buy another of this brand when it dies.

It sucks harder than 2020
There are three things I love most in this world. My family, my dog, and my Dyson. I vacuum 1-2 times per week. After every time, I hold the dust container up and say to my husband, "I mean just *look* at it. I just vacuumed the other day." The design is incredibly intuitive and it is light and easy to use. We have a 150 pound mastiff and you would never know because this vacuum sucks up every strand of dog hair from our carpet and hardwood floors. It doesn't just eliminate dog fur, it sucks up my bad attitude after I watch the news. It washes away stress and cleanses my soul. This vacuum is getting me through the pandemic.

Amazing Suction
I had a Dyson that was 10 years old and it had been through babies, and pets, and multiple floor surfaces. Needless to say we were very happy with the fact that we got 10 years out of the old machine and it still works, just not as well, and a some of the attachments are now broken. I of course wanted a new Dyson, and this one does not disappoint! I forgot how amazing the suction is / was on our original Dyson. This one picks up everything. My only complaint is that the electrical cord is a little bit shorter on this one than it was on my old one so I have to unplug it and plug it back in more often when I am cleaning the whole house. Other than that, I LOVE IT!

Great suction
The first few times I used my new dyson I was very impressed with how much suction it had. The third time I used it after doing just one room carpet it wouldn’t start. We checked all our plugs and it still wouldn’t start. I thought maybe it was plugged and searched all areas where it might have been plugged. I finally found the problem but also realized it is not easy to access places that might have been the problem. I am still not satisfied that I found all the plugged areas and have not used it since.
I would appreciate a diagram of all the places to check.
Otherwise I think I am going to love this vacuum.

The best vacuum ever.
For the first three years of living with my fiancé, we had a hand me down canister bag vacuum. I hated it so much, but we couldn't afford a new one. While I was struggling with my vacuum, I dreamed of my Mom's Dyson and how it was almost magical the way it picked up every single bit of dust. Coming up to our three year living here anniversary, I decided I needed a new vacuum. I researched other cleaners, but decided that splurging on the Dyson Multifloor 2 was exactly what I needed. The first time I used it, I could not BELIEVE how much dust my old vacuum left behind. It was like HEAVEN. I would ALWAYS recommend Dyson products to a friend. They know what they are doing!

Cannot Push on Carpet
I rarely leave reviews, but I hate this vacuum so much that I had to share with others and with Dyson with the hope that Dyson will fix the issues with the next models. This vacuum is impossible to push on carpet. We do not have thick carpet and I could not get the vacuum to move. I bought this vacuum to replace my older Dyson Ball which I used and loved for many years. I was expecting the same with this new model, but I will be returning. I'm so disappointed. I never even considered purchasing another brand besides Dyson since I had been so happy with my previous model. I now am forced to find another brand.

Dear Dyson
Please stop responding to everyone with what your Dyson ball is supposed to do or have and actually listen to what the customers are saying, which is A LOT of the same. The thing doesn't work well on carpets. That it's not a good design. You're downplaying everyone's experiences and it's getting old. The bottom line is, this unit sucks. It works better on floors than carpets. Maybe that should be your selling point with the ball. Anyway, I certainly won't be purchasing again, 1) because this has been a horrible experience 2) it was a waste of money and 3) you don't take customers issues seriously. Do better.
