Description

Make any room fashionable with Duraclic flooring. These rustic floor planks feature a natural oak-like finish with a wood grain textured surface. The 5G click-lock system makes installation quick and easy thanks to planks that interlock easily and securely. These planks feature a built-in SoundBuster thermo-acoustic underpad, which makes the floor quieter and more comfortable to walk on. The 100% waterproof floor structure makes this flooring a great choice for residential homes and commercial environments, including basements, kitchens and bathrooms. The DurAlOx finish ensures this flooring can withstand even the toughest conditions, making it particularly pet and kid friendly. It's easy to maintain with a vacuum and a wet mop. Each box contains 10 planks, which will cover 23.64-sq. ft. No undercoat is required and it can be used with a heating cable. Lastly, it comes with a limited lifetime warranty on residential installations and a 10-year limited warranty on commercial installations.

How much does each carton weigh?

can this be laid on an electric heated floor?

It says nothing on the boxes. Can you call the manufacturer for info? There is a fairly thick cushion of plastic high density foam on the bottom of each plank. I would think over tie it would break it down and loosen those planks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ontarian from Great Product, Easy To Install Prior to this floor I installed a regular vinyl plank floor (Evolution brand) which was of poor quality (sloppy, the clicks didn't hold). The Duraclic on the other hand is a great product to work with, it looks good too and it's easy to clean/maintain (it almost hides the dirty spots on it). Pros: impervious to water, relatively rigid (as opposed to traditional vinyl) which helps keep the planks locked into each other; surprisingly quiet due to the foam backing and it almost feels soft to the feet (although it isn't really); scratch and dent resistant; edges are precision manufactured which means the planks fit together perfectly; the patented click system on the short ends allows you to fit the long end first and just push down on the short end to click (this is different compared to other similar floors and is of great help especially in tight corners or when slipping it under door jambs); it snaps easily and very straight when scored with a utility knife Cons: the fake wood "character" lines are a bit exaggerated. I paired the floor with real oak baseboards and wainscotting and it clearly looks fake; the pattern repeats itself too often and the planks are not well mixed up in the boxes, meaning that when installing you'll need to look carefully at the pattern of each plank so you don't end up with two identical looking planks side-by-side or close to each other. Generally, though, I'd highly recommend this product over any laminate or simple vinyl floor (this one is considered a "composite" floor). It is truly what they call a high performance floor. I'd highly recommend it, though at regular price it's quite expensive (I was able to buy it when it was discounted).

The ends of planks are a poor locking design and become unlocked on a floating floor. We are so disappointed that at this time the manufacturer Innovative Flooring Supply will not honour their warranty.

I watched the installation video to get started. After the first couple of rows down the remaining was very easy to install. The floor looks great and is easy to care for. It’s a great looking floor snd easy to care for.
