While difficult, I think it's important because coin batteries are hazardous to children and pets. I also like that it says there's a bitter coating to prevent the batteries from being eaten. I put the battery in my car remote and it works great- better than the previous battery that was probably almost dead. I can lock my car from a much further range. I'm glad I purchased these batteries!

I don't have any children in my home, so that's not a necessity for me, but it's good for those with small children. I use these batteries in all types of small electronics such as scales and key fobs. They last a long time.

They worked great in a little remote that we use for turning lights on outside, and last a good long time. I highly recommend them and will be purchasing them again.
