it appears to be animal proof so far
This is a replacement cover and it looks great, and so far stands up to the sun and wind and feral cats. It has only been on my table for a month but the feral cats in the neighborhood like to lay in the sun on it and have not put a claw mark on it whereas the last cover was shredded.
