Rated 5 out of 5 by Wll1630 from Great for repairs [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Diamond surface prep wheel is a great product to do minor surface prep for small areas to take downs some high spots or nubs sticking up but it really shines for repairs. It's great for tile repairs when after removing the broken tile and you have to grind down the old thinset to make room for the new. That's where this blade shines. The blades makes very quick work of knocking down the ridges and the old thinset nicely. It holds up pretty good so you be able to get a decent amount of use out of it before replacing it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Dremel Prep wheel, my husband had removed several tiles from our bathroom wall and need to remove the old material that was there. He used my Dremel Ultra Saw with the US410 surface prep wheel and Voila! No more nooks and crannies, the surface was magnificently smooth and the new tiles were a cinch to replace! I truly recommend this Diamond Surface Prep Wheel for any similar type of work you need to do!

The tiled countertops had the smaller groves which was uneven and hard to clean. Once we were able to remove most of the tile, the Dremel surface prep wheel quickly removed the rest of the tile pieces and smoothed the uneven countertop down. Once the surface was smoothed, we were able to add smoother tile down on the countertops.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SoCal from works well [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All in all I'm rather impressed with the Diamond Surface Prep Wheel. I wish there were some sort of guard as there was a bit of debris that was emitted from the surface preparation. I would strongly advocate using gloves and eye shields or protective glasses. Otherwise seemed to do a good job.

It's great for getting in tight spots in masonry work. I used it doing some work on a concrete countertop on an outdoor kitchen. I highly recommend it.

Putting it on straight forward. It keeps a sharp edge no chip where out of the blade. Should last a long time
