Grout removal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bit is thin enough to remove the material between tight tiles, I removed 3 4x4 tiles then I used the bottom of the bit like a power sander and took off the bonding mortar down to the screen. It has a little wear but still plenty to handle the next project. so for a total of 48” of removal completed I would estimate maybe 16’ - 20’ left before it’s worn down.

Great little worker
I reluctantly purchased this Dremel blade when I flat out HAD to have a grout cutter right now but couldn’t find a Dewalt grout blade anywhere in Chico. I try to avoid the universal fitment blades as even when they do fit they need frequent tightening which bugs me.
But this blade mounts fine and only needed to be re-tightened a few times over the course of a month’s use. Deserves a positive review based on that alone.
The blade definitely lasted longer than I expected, and continued to cut well even after most of the abrasive material had given up the ghost. We used it to not only cut through grout, but about 1/2-3/4” of mortar reinforced with chicken wire. This thing was a warrior. It turned a nightmare countertop removal (well this blade and a skill saw) into an afternoon’s work.
This blade deserved a much better life than we gave it. Wherever you are now little warrior, I hope you are at peace. You certainly earned it.

Dremel Saved My Bacon!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently discovered that two of our bathrooms needed grout work. Of course, it started with a door that needed minimal caulking. However, upon a closer examination, I noticed cracked grout in all major joints where wall, floor and ceiling walls met. In addition, floor and wall tiles had issues. I also decided to check our other tiled bathroom. I removed all grout from one bathroom and all connection area grout from the other. More than a week later, I am finishing the grout removal project. I had a rotary Dremel which I used the 569 Carbide Grout Removal bit tool on. Based on my past experience with Dremel and excellent 5-star reviews and 94 percent user recommendations, I also purchased a Dremel Multi-Max M35 and the MM501 1/16 inch carbide grout removal tool. Both Dremel and accessories were invaluable.
The marble tiles were placed very closely together in both bathrooms and the 1/16th inch tools fit perfectly.
I do not know what I would have done without these Dremel tools. You really saved my bacon! There are not a lot of 1/16th inch tools readily available in other brands. My new Multi-Max paid for itself in one use and I have other projects lined up. What a great value!

The package says "accessory fits craftsman." Unfortunately, it does not so I will be returning.

Spot on Purchase
This cutter made the job a lot easier to execute. I bought this for a DIY product and it went very well. Planning on buying a second one even though the first one still has some cutting strength.

didn't work with Dewalt
Did not work with my dewalt fast swap oscillating tool (despite advertising suggesting it's "universal"). I would recommend going with a different product.
