Every shape/type of aluminum oxide grinding stone I have gets used on a regular basis. I take on projects of friends just so I have more reasons to use them. These stones have saved so many knives and scissors from the garbage can. The amount of money saved on knives is enough reason to have a couple of them in your kit.

Worked like a charm!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We built an enclosure for our dog off of our deck. It was made of welded wire and this grinding stone made quick work of the cut ends. At lower died it even smoothed them out nicely!
