I was expecting some thing cordless, some tools and attachments, decent battery life, case to carry it in. What I got was a tool with all the running options I could want or may use in the future, lots of attachments which pretty much covers anything I do now or things in the future, i’ve charged it once and have used it for hours without having to recharge it again, and an awesome hard plastic case to keep it protected and all in one place. Everything you want in one package This was an excellent purchase and should last long into the future

My wife bought me the Dremel 4000 6/50 for father's day, and it was an incredible gift. The accessories are very well made, and the tool has more power than ever. I really have to load it down to make it work hard. I use it for furniture making, plumbing, electrical, and glass engraving with the extension shaft accessory. I am amazed by the versatility of this machine, and look forward to using it for many, many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lundo from Super Useful Tool [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit was my very first Dremel purchase and I repeatedly use it a lot in my RC airplane building needs. Numerous instances arise during my balsa wood building kits that need to be cut or ground or trimmed and etc. This tool really comes in handy for those needs. I have yet to use a lot of the accessories that came with it but I'm sure that one day a need will arise that I will get to try them out. The quality of Dremel products in their manufacture is also impressive. I would strongly recommend this tool to anyone considering doing any DIY home projects because it would certainly pay for itself in a short time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by wvmatt from worked good for 15 min bought it a year ago then needed to cut some aluminum tubing thin wall prob 3/8 in diameter after 15 min of use it quit working so its not very durable at all when I turn it on it runs for 30 sec then quits checked brushes look brand new
