Impressed
I honestly didn’t expect much for a low price grinder but I was pleasantly surprised with this machine, I’ve had it for two weeks now and have chewed through about 30 stumps, soft and hardwood even hit a few rocks and the teeth are just fine. Took me a bit to learn it but after a few stumps I had it down. You’ll definitely get a workout with this grinder especially on any type of grade.

Bolts keep shearing off
This product works well, but the bolts keep shearing off. The first time we used we lost two bolts. Replaced them and lost another one. I am on my way to get more bolts now.

Seems to work well
The machine works well. I ground down 10 small stumps in a little more than an hour. It was easy to put together and easy to use. The gas tank was dented in shipping and two bolts holding one of the blades have already broken. If not for those two things I would have given five stars.

Not for heavy use
You get what you pay for on this. The frame may be "commercial", but that is about it. It sheered off the bolts holding on a tooth on the first stump. Lost the tooth somewhere and had to buy another one. The design relies on only the bolts to take the force and impacts from cutting. The cast body is more or less just a placeholder from the bolts to the brazed carbide. I replaced the cheap Chinese bolts with Rc40 socket head cap screws, and just a standard nut and lock washer. That one has held up well so far. I have ground 5 stumps and sheered off 4 more teeth so far, even after making sure they are all tight before I start. None of the bolts I replaced have broken yet. As for the rest of the quality, it is average. You can tell this machine is not going to hold up in the long haul, or with heavy use. I have 17 stumps to grind, so I chose this model as opposed to renting one, just as a time trade off - so I can grind at my leisure, and not on the clock of a rental. If you are a home owner, and put this through light to moderate use - and replace the bolts, it should be fine. If you have a serious amount of stump grinding to do - spend the money and buy a better machine.

Fair machine
Bought this machine to keep my guys busy.
Ground approx 16 stumps in 2 days. Some very large, 36 plus inches. It's a work out, but does the trick.

The bolts on the teeth snap very easily.
Only issue I have had, running it every day at job sites, is the bolts holding the teeth are not strong at all and when they snap the tooth goes flying. Otherwise it has held up like a champ and eaten some massive stumps.

Great value
I purchased this machine after numerous tree services told me their machines wouldn't fit where I had removed nearly 40 trees. It works well and has accomplished everything I needed thus far. Rental fees are astronomical and this was a great buy!
