6-in cyclonic shredder with 14 HP KOHLER commercial engine that makes 3,600 rpm. This 13-in double cutting blade model automatically adjusts to shred branches up to 6.5 inches in diameter. The blades are double-edged and reversible. This shredder comes with a built-in tool box and handles for easy movement during storage or use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Markus from Awesome Chipper ! I purchased this model chipper back in 2019 and it is still going strong today in 2023. It was advertised to be able to cut upto 6 inch pieces of wood and it can and does do it. However, I normally keep most under 5 inches in diameter just to be safe. Also I have cut pieces that were as much as 15 feet long. I found that if I can hold it in there, it will cut it.It has cut everything I tried to stick in it, except for pieces less than 1 inch in diameter, which can clog it up. However, it is easy to clean out withthe way it opens up. Bottom Line, this is an Awesome Chipper and I highly recommend it !!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by NevadaMike from Powerful chipper but....... I have done quite a bit of chipping with this machine as a homeowner and it gets it done. Mine has a few problems though. The rubber safety curtain is very brittle. I am missing the three center flaps now and wood chips fly back out. They just start tearing at the top and before you know it they just get fed through the chipper. Also the battery gave up already so I am pull starting the machine. Thankfully it starts easy because thing is hard to pull start! Hopefully the company will take care of me when I contact them as the machine is only 3 months old.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SteveA from DK2 Power OPC506 1 Year Review I've made a lot of chips with this chipper. When it works, it works well. All chippers will have challenges, but the ones associated with this chipper could be easily avoided for minimal cost. The first weakness is the documentation and support. The assembly instructions are very good and easy to follow... but that is where it ends. Finding help with common issues, adjustments and repair is nearly impossible. A simple maintenance and adjustment guide takes minimal time and cost to produce, but is a complete game changer in customer perception. The second weakness is more difficult to explain. If the blade to anvil gap is too great, wood can be pulled into the underbelly and completely lock up the unit. There is no accessibility to this area, turning relatively minor jams into a major evolution. Nowhere in the current documentation is a gap setting given... or a method for setting the gap shown. Additionally, the shaft end does not have enough surface area or access to get a tool on it to move the cylinder when such a jam occurs. Access to the belly section would solve this issue and set this chipper apart from its competition. Again, this would be a minimal cost solution that could have a big impact on serviceability. I'm not displeased with this chipper. As I mentioned, I have made a lot of good chips with this thing... but I've also spent a lot of time unjamming, adjusting and doing non-productive things as well. With a little more effort on the part of DK2, I think this could be a much better product... but it is not bad as it is.

Though rather heavy, this machine has saved us so many trips to the dump that it’s been worth the hassle of moving it to a place to shoot the detritus from the branches being chipped. We put only branches 3 to 4” in diameter in the machine. It handles these quite well. Thankful we bought this machine, and Lowe’s had the best price!

No problem, I have put some green pine limbs in about 3 to 4 in. diameter. Easy peasy. Stars on first pull. I was amazed at how small the wood chips are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JXP9614 from Great Chipper Finally a chipper that can handle proper size branches that is reasonably priced. There is too small of chippers that take more prep work than they are worth to operate and large commercial chippers are to expensive unless you are an arborist. This is the sweet spot. When I process trees for personal firewood this machine cuts the clean up to a fraction of the time.
