Loose Bolts on Blades
After one hour of use, heard a rattling sound coming from the shredder blades. Discovered that the blade bolts were not tight, had come loose and were spinning around against the wall of the shredder. These were now bent. Had to replace them.
Discovered the muffler bolts were also loose. TIGHTEN EVERYTHING INSIDE AND OUTSIDE BEFORE USING THIS. Also, if you try to move this chipper while the motor is running it will shut off. This chipper does not like hills -- needs to be on flat ground to work. Had to remove from trailer hitch and put on ground because slight tilt caused by the hitch prevented cranking. I still like using it though.

Don't buy this
I desperately wanted this product to work, and was willing to pay the price. The ordering process was confusing and disconnected - at order, it was coming in three days. Three days later I was informed it would take another 10. The crate it came in was damaged, but the product wasn't. Assembly instructions were pretty poor, but it went together ok. After 4 hours of use, I can't see using this long term. The trailer hitch doesn't work. The vacuum clogs on any wet leaves or sticks that are ingested. The door used to close off the hopper and enable the vacuum is impossible to open without loosening the hopper. Great idea put poorly engineered. It is being returned.

The first time I used it, it ran fine for about 2 hours of work. I was feeding limbs per instructions, when suddenly a blade broke off inside the enclosed case. It spewed parts around the case and out of the chute. Once I shut it down, I inspected the steel blade enclosure/case and found that several pieces exited the case causing a distorting of the case and several tears/holes in a full 360 degree range of the blades. Thank goodness I was positioned to the front of the chipper, rather than the side. I have attached one of the photos.

Review for the vacuum portion of the machine.
If you planning to use this as a leaf vacuum look elsewhere, especially if you have large leaves such as oak. The inlet on the machine is way too small of a diameter to accommodate these type of leaves in any large amount, it just clogs up. This machine would benefit greatly with a larger diameter inlet and hose.

Unit is junk! do not purchase!
Terrible instructions to put together, does not include oil.
Within the first 2 hours of running machine, I found the exhaust broken off the manifold, two sheared bolts off the engine back!

Do not buy! Poorly designed!
The chipper leaf shoot cover plate will not work without loosening the entire shoot. There is no designed tolerance between the metal surrounding the shoot cover plate and the plate itself. The paint alone seems to have exceeded this tolerance. Any reasonable amount of tightening will make the cover immovable. I had to use 100% of my body weight to move it after I loosened the intake and lubricated the shoot cover slot. To make it usable I had to loosen it so much that eventually the entire cover came out because I still had to apply a ton of force and now the shredder spews chunks upwards whenever I use it. I could reassemble it, but then I would be unable to use the leaf shoot, which is why I bought this.

Great Chipper
Took a bunch of trees down on the weekend and made quick work of the brush. This unit performed way better than other models I have rented. Really happy.
